Kangaroo Creek Farm is a fantastic experience for all ages. Not only do you get to interact with the kangaroos, there is many other varieties of birds and animals to see and learn about as well. The new location is so well laid out. There is a food stand in the middle and a fire truck for kids to play on and picnic tables to take a rest. The grounds are divided into 3 areas, which really helps disperse the visitors making it a pleasant experience for all. The caretakers are wonderful at watching the visitors and ensuring the safety of the animals. The animals all appear to be relaxed and healthy. I cannot recommend Kangaroo Creek Farm enough to both locals and tourists alike. But do remember, it is about the safety and wellbeing of the animals first and foremost. So please do follow the rules and understand that the animals need a break sometime too. It can be disappointing if you don't get to hold a sugar glider or have one of the birds on your shoulder, but these care takers know the animals and know when they need a rest. Please do not take your disappointment out on the staff if you are unable to do something. They are doing what is best for the animals. Be kind to all; animals, birds, reptiles and humans alike.
This is a great place for a family day trip. The kangaroos are super friendly and eat the popcorn right out of your hand. There's also a goat area where they just kid around, they're always trying to escape! The other section of the farm has birds, reptiles and a porcupine, and some more animals. Food trucks, ice cream and good washrooms means you can stay there for a few hours of fun.
A very family-friendly attraction featuring wallabies, kangaroos, emus, chickens, sugar gliders, capybara, and much more. The staff are very helpful and the opportunity to feed some of the animals is quite fun for everyone. Ample parking and admission is not very expensive at $16 per adult and $8 for children over 4 younger than 4 are free. Worth a visit but dress accordingly on scorching days.
The drive from Vancouver to Kelowna was so worth it! Kangaroo Creek Farm is an amazing experience for my kids and for us adults as well. It was a highlight of our trip. Who would have thought we can be "transported" to the Outback and Down Under within BC?? The staff and volunteers are all very friendly and knowledgeable, everyone was very helpful and smiling the whole time we were there. The place was very well kept and clean, the animals are obviously well taken cared of and are very healthy. We found out that most of the animals were rescues and that they are working tirelessly to make sure they are fed, cleaned and loved. Highly recommended for everyone to visit and support this farm.
This spot was probably the highlight of our week long trip through BC. I was surprised I’d never heard of it because it’s so cool you can touch all the Kangaroos. We came right at opening and we’re able to avoid large crowds which really helps if you’re wanting to have some good time with the animals. We were able to pet pretty much everything and the big reds and wallabies were very tolerant of people. 10/10
Amazing place for people of every age. Something different from traditional. Everything is organized and holds the values of local heritage. Entry fees are bit expensive. Location is awesome, just behind/beside the airport. Lots of parking spots are there. Washroom as well as food/snack services are available inside. Like this place.....
This is our second visit after a couple years. They have improved the farm quite a lot and it is better organized for both the animals and for visitors. Loved to hang out with the kangaroos, the peacocks, the goats, etc. The animals are human friendly especially good for kids, not aggressive at all compared to other kangaroo places. Will definitely go there every time we visit Kelowna!
One of the must visit places in BC, you'll find lots of pets in this farm. My boys really enjoyed this farm visit; fed and petting most of the animals here. I've never seen Kangaroo this closer in my life. I appreciate all the staff members for taking good care of the pets. Worth visiting, no entry fees for ages 4 and below.
Perfect place to visit with kids in all ages. You can expirance direct contact with almost all animals on a farm. Reptile show was amazing. A lot off detailed information ware provided. We love it. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They answered for all questions you could have. Wonderful place.
What an interesting and enjoyable experience! The staff clearly love their jobs; they're knowledgeable about the animals in their care and relate well to them. The grounds are sprawling, giving the animals ample room to play. There are some areas of the grounds that are challenging for wheelchair users, but not to the point of being inaccessible. We'll be back!
