I have been there 3 times already and they never disappoint. Their fish is fresh and they have creative rolls and tapas such as crunchy scallop. They also have original plating designs for their rolls and salads. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants quality and creative sushi :Food: 5/5
Updates Nov-22 Ordered take out and taste is still consistent. The rolls were, however, a little loose and didn’t hold well together. A slight improvement to consider. I went with a friend on a weekday for lunch and we really enjoyed our experience. Staff was very friendly, service was quick and sushi were fresh and delicious. I’m usually not a big fan of rolls, but their are pretty good and crunchy although they were a little big to eat in one bite. Definitely recommended.
I ordered sushi from sushi list, a sushi pizza and teriyaki chicken. The sushi presentation is excellent. The seafood is fresh and tasty. But the seaweed is soggy. Overall sushi is about 3/5. The lobster sushi pizza is good. It is crispy and tasty. I gave it 4/5. The teriyaki chicken is a suprise. The portion is huge. I think it can serve 2 people. It come with an cast iron skillet too. Price is a bit high. I gave it 4/5. The service is good, responsive, and friendly. Overall experience is good. Food presentation is excellent. Price is decent.
Nice and clean decor. However, quality of the sushi rolls can be improved. The sushis are cut thick and there’s not alot of taste. Also ordered a beef tataki but had to return it because it was still frozen.
Rice rice rice ... Fresh tasty- exactly how it is supposed to be in a sushi roll. Miso soup is highly recommended. Nice personal and cool air conditioner;. They still have 20% discount for your first order!
Great experience. Delicious, fresh sushi rolls, and wonderful service. We were also pleasantly surprised to get a 20% discount for the restaurant's recent opening. We had three standard rolls, one signature roll wonderful, I highly recommend ordering a signature item, imperal rolls, and the green tea creme brulee for dessert. Everything was excellent and the presentation was beautiful. I look forward to going back! I think the restaurant needs to do something to let people know that they are open because they should be very busy, but I don't think people realize yet.
Food quality: excellent Food presentation: very pretty, look at the pic! Service: good! Seated? Yes Takeout? Yes Venue decor: modern, japanese-inspired, and clean aesthetic Come back? Maybe Please Like if this review helped you! Parking: Free parking
Friendly staff and delicious food! So fresh, the omakase is awesome!
I am a business owner myself and I know how much a negative review can make someone feel but this just need to be said. The owner was not welcoming, and seems to be scaring off his workers. I ordered a combo for 1 and received 12 sushis for $45. Okay I thought maybe it would be very elite and fancy, but to my surprise, they tasted very stale. I didn’t receive any soy or ginger and the taste was below average. The waitress was super nice so I will give them that. For the price, I honestly expected a little bit more. Too bad
Fish were cheap selections and all mushy, far from fresh. Sashimis were cut so thin it’s almost transparent, thus no texture & taste, not to mention how the rice wasn’t properly prepared either. It’s obvious that the chef has no authentic knowledge of sushi making. Yes Montreal has a lower Japanese food standard, but this has hit a new low. If you ever dine in Japan, or at least New York or Vancouver, you’ll think how outrageous this is.
