They do not do anything about bullying or drama that happens with kids, teachers say they will do something but it never happens. A lot of kids have gained depression because of this bullying that happens around the school in every grade. A friend of mine gained so much depression of this drama and bullying, that she wanted to be home schooled and never come back.

The Staff for the most part does a good job for not having any support from the school administration. The Administration seems to be on a path of self destruction and deception to the parents of the students. There is a real problem getting a straight answer form the administration or even a return call to address a problem. This is not the school that I was proud to have my children attend only a few short years ago. The changes to the administration seem to be driving a wedge between the school and the parents. Senior staff not returning phone calls, sweeping problems under the rugs rather than dealing with them like the law requires of them and a school with integrity would do. It's time for a change in the administration and time to get back to having the best education for our children as possible. Kaleidoscope needs to go back to being the Charter School that is setting the examples that all the other charter schools want to reach, instead of being the ones that are being whispered and talked about in a negative way. It starts at the top. That is where the direction is coming from and needs to change for our school to return to the leader that it once was.

Excellent school. Two of my children attend KCS and absolutely love it. All students take art, music, gym, and Spanish. Class sizes are small, so the children form a close-knit relationship with their peers. Teachers and staff are friendly and approachable.
