Kala Kendar’s Music Warehouse was formed in 1991 to provide the local Toronto musicians access to authentic instruments out of India.

Mission

Whereas most dealers are focused on mass produce instruments and high volume, which instead of being playable instruments end up collecting dust due to inferior workmanship. We insist only premium materials to build our instruments, to withstand the various climate changes and still deliver only excellent tone quality.

Since the very beginning, Kala Kendar has inspected and played every single instrument before it has left our hands. Rest assured you will always receive an inspected and adjusted instrument by one of our very own knowledge musicians. Rest assured we would rather send you something you like, rather than something you would want to return back to us.

Sent the wrong item to UK and now he is not answering the emails not whats app messages and its been 2 weeks. I recommend not to buy from here. Poor service
We received excellent customer service with exceptional products at Kala Kendar. Due to the well informed staff we had a pleasurable shopping experience and went home with the purchase of our dreams. Highly recommend, a great shop with high quality instruments.
The owners are greedy and nasty. No business ethics. Vermin to the highest. Don’t buy from these people. Spend your hard earn money elsewhere or shop at your own peril and pray there’s no issue because the owners are only serving there own interest not yours especially the son. Very rude seller and awful customer service. Over priced items which can be found cheaper. I bought a Tabla which arrived damaged but they did nothing to help me. They blocked my calls and messages
Very rude seller, wanted to make a purchase, but he had no knowledge of what he was taking about. Out of curiosity I was asking questions, the more I asked the more annoyed he got, then he hang up the phone. I'll take my money elsewhere thanks,
Kala Kendar is a great store and the gentleman working in the instrument section provides excellent service, is very kind and very helpful.
Sold me broken instrument, then blocked my emails and number. DO NOT BUY
