Japanese-inspired fast food. Or rice-based casserole. Or just something different. Kalé's offerings are simple, hot, and satisfying.
I don’t understand the hype of this place. I tried their curry, and it was lacking flavor. Their chicken was dry af. It’s like it was precooked, prebreaded, frozen and then baked. I tried better curry elsewhere. Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but I probably won’t visit again.
Haven't had much Japanese curry but this was pretty amazing. The chicken was a tad bit dry but that was fine because it helped when you dipped it into the curry and it stayed together. Nice little restaurant with outdoor dining options during Covid and friendly staff!
Great service and great curry. The flavor is amazing, the best curry I’ve had. After living in Japan for a few months I fell in love with Japanese curry. I had tried dozens of brands and stores, this one is the best.
This was my first time having Japanese curry and it didn’t disappoint! The owner is super friendly and welcoming and walked us through our meal before ordering. Would highly recommend!
Some days the food is Aaaaaahmazing, others days chicken is a bit dry. I'd still go back though because its pretty delicious when is cooked well.
I've had takeout, delivery, and bought their sauce frozen; every single way is delicious. I personally love the doria dishes, especially with extra curry. The restaurant smells incredible when you walk in and that continues through the meal. Highly recommend to any japanese curry fan.
The food here is absolutely phenomenal. I feel like I’m at my grandmas house eating a delicious home cooked meal.
The Japanese curry in this place is the best of town. I guarantee you cant find any Katsu curry like this because taste like in Japan. Love love love it. I give them millions points but please Id love to try pork katsu too if you make again.
