Story

Kaiserec Delicatessen is a family run business that has been at the Granville Island Public Market for over 15 years.

Our fresh selection of produce, cheeses, and meats allows for customers to have a sandwich made just for them while they watch. We also offer a selection of specialty sandwiches for those that prefer to order off a menu.

Along with our fresh sandwiches we serve seven different gourmet German style sausages with a heap of fried onions and sauerkraut.

Everything we serve is fresh and local!

Fantastic addition to Granville Island and solid little patio gem. Best to go on week night evenings as it isn't too busy. Perogies were delicious, mulled wine was perfectly spiced and warm. Love the festive decor and ambiance. Servers were all super friendly and excellent service. Would visit again!!
This place is great, such a hidden gem! What’s better than eating a huge plate of perogies and sausage with a beer on the patio?
Bratworst and Beer was delicious...a nice creamy in house pint and good sized sausage...I don't usually like sausage but this was amazing. Family had various perogies and raved about them. Nice patio on the harbour and cheerful service. Definite return.
The food is great, big portions for your money too. The staff is super friendly and they have such a great patio to have a beer now!! Great spot!
The patio is nice. Couldn't be more disappointed in the perogies. The were soggy, watery and out of shape. They tasted like they have been cooked in the water for hours. The hot dog was good though.
The place serves large portions and for affordable prices. very friendly employees. Highly recommended.
