Historic blessed location that leaves one with a sense of calm and peacefulness

Beautiful, peaceful! Somewhat rudimentary architecture/decor except the ceilings which have beautiful murals. The huge draw is St. Kateri Tekakwitha, whose body is entombed here. Check the hours ahead of time. It is not always open. We snuck in after close but before the gift shop attendant left -- very kind of him!! This place is something of a hidden gem -- off the beaten path!

Go to this beautiful church on a Mohawk reservation and pray w/ St. Kateri. There's a nice little museum and the staff was delightful and stayed late on a Friday so we could look around. St. Kateri pray for us!

Beautiful historic landmark. Great place to worship the newly canonized St. Kateri Tekakwitha.
