Had a lamb shank. It was a huge portion. Very tender and tasty. The rice was enough for 2 people. Rice was a little too oily for me but it tasted good. My friend had Kebob and it was also fantastic. The French fries are really awesome. This is a hidden gem in Waterloo.
Me and a Brazilian friend went here in the afternoon to have some Persian cuisine food here. Also wanted to watch the Brazil vs Cameroon FIFA 2022 match. We ordered two mini kobideh for 14$ each. Pictures included. Scrumptious, filling food. We had some complimentary post meal Irani chai/tea as well English style. I loved it. I think I had two cups of it lol. Clean space with a few Persian/Iranian heritage pictures on the wall. Brightly lit. Cozy and comfortable. Food is top notch. Saw a lot of students coming in to order takeaways as it’s close to UofW. Also a skip the dishes guy came to pick an order too. Try this place. Enjoy. Keep up the great service, Kabob Hut. Will visit again.
Very kind staff, good portions, and also they're doing a ~15 year anniversary discount which is 25% off - got this discount on Jan 28th so I don't know how it'll last. The grilled tomato wasn't burnt and the rice wasn't too oily which seems to be the shortcoming of many other Kabob places in KW region, but not this one. They added three seasoning containers / packets, when some other places only give you one container of garlic sauce and that's it, which I thought was a nice addition
Halal. I love this place, authentic persian cuisine. I got the waziry kabob takeout, comes with a skewer of beef kabob and choice of chicken legs or breast skewer as well. Massive takeout container, comes with rice and grilled tomato. It also came with some fries on the side! I also got a pomegranate drink on the side. They currently have a 25% off discount which is perfect for students like me.
Get #4 on the menu; comes with kabob and chicken. The chicken is very tender and goes great. With the 25% discount promotion they've been doing for the last little while, this food is very worth it, highly recommend.
The food here is very generous, and the price is low comparing to other restaurants in the plaza. The atmosphere was great and the service was amazing. Would totally recommend this place for gathering of friends.Food: 5/5
Today we bought kabab kobideh and chicken joojeh takeout from Kabob Hut.I am so happy so see the presentation and quality of packaging they did .The quality ,taste and presentation of food is Amazing and appetizing !! KABOB HUT has maintaining the quality of food for Long. We bought food from there time to time in past couple of years and also in 2017-2019.I would like to say Thanks for the dedicated and hard working staff. KABOB HUT is Best Local Waterloo restaurant!!
I want to thank you kabob hut for helping us to host our gathering with friends in restaurants. Food was great as always. Bread was fresh. I chose chicken leg kabob, it was very well cooked and marinated. They changed their arrangement and we could fit 40 people perfectly. Everyone was happy to choose this place! We will definitely arrange more gatherings there!
Close to University of Waterloo. Tried joojeh kabob and it was delicious! Reasonable portion and price.
The best kabob place in Waterloo! I usually order in and the food is fresh when it gets here and is always good. Went in one day on the way to work and customers from owner is amazing. A little expensive so it’s a treat yourself meal.
