Small grocery store packed with tons of Filipino and other products. Clean store with price labels on all products, and it takes credit card transactions. There is a display up front with local baked products. I recommend the Casava Cake along with the Leche Flan. Prices are reasonable and it is a great little place to shop at.
Kabayan is our go-to grocery joint for everything Filipino. The only reason it's 4/5 is because the Dartmouth store is too cramped & small, and the price point is too high sometimes. For example, the Kopiko Blanca in Atlantic Superstore is priced at $8 while Kabayan was selling the same product at $13 Aug 2022. I think they need to make sure their prices are competitive before Superstore in Barrington Street runs them out of business.
Not a very friendly place for people of non Philippine descent. I was greeted cold and a very uninvited energy.

My wife is from the Philippines .. She absolutely loves this market. She cooks authentic Philippina dishes. Where other stores don't cary her specialty ingredients. Wonderful people working there. Friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this store.. They also have another store in Bedford. Enjoy cooking some new dishes.. Thanks

Great prices, excellent selection of ethnic foods and treats that you just won't find in mainstream Grocery stores. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
