The ice itself is pretty good here. The viewing areas are a little far from the ice and somewhat awkward to get to compared to other rinks in Calgary.nnThere is plenty of parking here usually with access from the front Leisure Centre Side and the East an North side as well.
Ok arena some of the dressing rooms are pretty much converted broom closets though. And the black netting they put up in front of the stands makes it a lot harder to see which is pointless anyway because your in the second level anyway or if you are closer you should be watching so it just weird to have it.

Good and bad. Great comfort for warmth for us watching. Ice conditions look good. There is an ice-level seat area with limited seating.nnUnfortunately the upper level observation are is poorly laid out. If you seat on the seats you can't see are action near the boards below you. Worst, the netting will make you dizzy while watch s the game as younger people tend to shake the netting.
Decent ice, and better viewing than Ed Whalen for spectators, but still a colder-than-average arena, and the change rooms need an update. Still a great layout and space overall.
