Just Furs

An amazing little store packed full of treasures! The highest value item in the store is the proprietor, a lovely woman with unsurpassed knowledge of her trade. She was very kind and helpful guiding us through our purchases. She attempted to give our son some earmuffs directly off the shelf for free, but we insisted on paying, we settled our negotiations at half price. The goods sold here are extremely high quality and generously priced. I am so very glad we got to attend her store before she goes completely online for sales. We will miss the opportunity to shop in person the next time we are in Yellowknife, but are very pleased we found this treasure of the north and will buy online!

They had a fantastic selection of hand made local fur items which was exactly what I was looking for. The staff was very helpful to me. I picked up a beautiful pair of Moccasins for a birthday gift for my mother. Thank you for helping me find the correct size for her, they fit her perfectly.

It's at interesting place, and the clerk was very friendly and knowledgeable. Sadly what's available is not all traditional indigenous hunter/trapper fur products. It's quite a tourist spot and not as authentic as I was hoping for.
