Jungle Jim's

Don't often like to leave negative reviews but tonight's experience was so bad it is worth mentioning. We arrived and were seated and waited 15 minutes to order our drinks, then waited 30 more minutes to get the drinks, still hadnt ordered our food. We saw the drinks sit on the bar for a while before we finally asked for them again and she brought them over. Appetizers and mains were ordered, appetizers didn't come ahead of anything else. Waited over an hour to get anything. Husband finished his drink long before our food came and was at no point asked for another. Server seemed to be too busy serving the 3 men at the bar than checking on her tables. We could see our food sitting in the pass window at least 15 minutes before it came to our tables. Caesar salads were missing the bacon and croutons and all the hot food was lukewarm at best. At the end got tired of waiting for our bill so we got up and went to the cash ourselves and asked for the bill. They told us when we got there that they were short staffed on the front but the service coming from the kitchen was equally as disappointing.

Thought I would take my wife out for a nice dinner. Sorry to say this wasn't it.nWe always order nachos as an appetizer. The nachos were pretty good except the fact that we had next to nothing in the meat department. We were lucky to have 1/5of a cup of ground beef. They were tasty but just disappointing.nWhen our main coarse came out, my wife's fries were uncooked and cold. The server asked for us to remove them off the plate so she could replace them. Sorry but thats red flag #2.nWe found the service polite but very uneducated. One would think that missing sides and missing gravy would be a concern. It would be for an experienced server.nFor the service and the quality of food for the price I'm giving Jungle Jim's a 2.5 out of 10.nThis restaurant is in a high traffic zone. One would think it would be alot better.nStep it up folks.nnCheers,

Terrible service! We arrived at 540 pm and waited 10 minutes to get a table. Not because it was busy but because the hostess was talking to someone else. We were finally seated and a waitress came quite quick for our drink orders. There was us and 1 other table in use. We received our drink orders, then waited 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order. We ordered spinach dip and the bathroom sink. Approx half hour later our food arrives. The spinach dip wasnt hot enough to melt the cheese. The bathroom sink contents were all cold. The waffles fries, onion rings etc all cold. When I complain it was like she was expecting me to do so. I would never go back to that location again. Extremely disappointing. I’m her defense she offers to replace the food however after almost an hour, I was not waiting any longer

I will not return to this restaurant. We waited 45 mins to watch lots of other people before us not receive their food. The hostess had a mini meltdown which I assume is because they were under staffed and they were so late on everyone’s orders. She gave dirty looks to multiple people and acted very unprofessionally. We ended up leaving and had some very hungry kids. We’ve ate here before and had issues with burnt food and long wait times but the kids love it which is why we tried again. It’s really unfortunate this restaurant takes up space when Oromocto could really use a quality family restaurant.

I had told myself the last time a year ago, was going to be the last time, as I had asked for a steak medium rare and received it extremely well done. Well tonight my girlfriend wanted to come and try it out again, after mulling it over, I agreed to go. Well, the chicken tacitos were still frozen on the inside, and this, after waiting for 70 minutes for the meal to arrive. Room temperature, I'd say, ok it was sitting around, but still frozen, ridiculous.
