We had a fantastic experience. They do small seating's with an open kitchen. When we dined on a Tuesday night their was a single waitress which gave it a very intimate feeling. The food was amazing, the steak with bone marrow butter was outrageous. We will definitely be dining here again!
Great service, great food!
As part of the Essex culinary resort, the Tavern is a nice bar to hang out at. Beth the night bartender is more a mixologist and chum! The food is quite decent bar food, slightly elevated and prepared by culinary interns. Honestly the best part is the atmosphere and surroundings in the resort.

1/2 priced wings and $4 select pint on Thursday is great. Best tasting wings in Chittenden county, wings down.
Went for a company dinner and it was amazing! I got the fritters, chicken, Flavors Of Fall and it was all amazing. Will definitely go again!
It was ok but for the hype they make it to be ... not sure it really is all that. Not to mention that the staff is not apt to serve or wait tables...but that’s understandable it’s just missing that final touch.....example; I asked what type of prosciutto that had and the answer was Italian...lol
