Delicious family style menu. Every item seemed to be freshly home made. The bar and restaurant are small and dark like most off the grid Wisconsin taverns … but also so good for an evening out with the family. Waitstaff was curious and the overall experience was delightful.
The staff was outstanding and the patrons are so friendly and kind. I will surely come back for more delicious food. Tuesday are rib nights and I cannot wait to try them. The French onion soup was delicious!!!! I tried a bite of the fish fry it was yummy and I am not a fish person. Highly suggest the potato pancakes! Thank you to the staff and servers for squeezing us in. You guys are rock stars!!! I loved reading about the history of the restaurant as well. Very is very welcoming which is hard to find!
Great time! Wonderful duck with Jamaican Cream Sauce. Cooked perfectly by Executive Chef Al. Had the lump appetizer then baked French onion soup. Great cheesecake as well for dessert.

My chicken cordon blu was delicious unfortunately my husband's perch was very fishy tasting didn't really taste like perch. We should have said something but they were very busy. Waitress was fabulous and friendly. Definitely wouldn't order perch again.
We had a wonderful evening! The food was good, but the people are fantastic. Kim is an exceedingly professional and fabulous bartender. She's quick and meticulous, and has a heart of gold! Calista is the charming, warm-hearted, funny, and darling server who went out of her way constantly to make sure we were happy as can be. She was straightforward in her recommendations, clearly understood our preferences, and made sure everything was done perfectly. Wow! And Matthew, the young man who kept our water glasses full and our table cleared, is a rare gem in this world today. He is young, but he demonstrates a commitment to excellence in all he does, no matter the task. Always smiling, always ready to take care of anything a guest needed. The draft beer was good, the steaks were wonderful, and those Haystack onion rings~ Yawlzaah yum yum yum! But it's the people here that made my first night in Wisconsin simply wonderful!
Ordered some fish fries to go tonight and they were AMAZING! We tried the perch, haddock and the walleye and all had great flavor and were still crispy when I got home. House made potato pancakes were delicious! Highly recommend their fish fry! Good job to the Back of house!

Great fish fry. We had the beer battered haddock. The coating was light and crispy. The potato pancakes were tasty and the beer was cold. Friendly staff. Ghost Town checked all the boxes.Food: 5/5
If I could give 6 stars I would. I love trying various fish fries wherever I travel and this is far and away the best I've ever had. Not only was the perch the best, the portions are massive. Even with my endless appetite for destruction, this may have been the first time I couldn't finish a fish plate. The service and atmosphere were excellent as well. This was my first time visiting Grafton but I'll be back again, if even only for that fish fry.
