The food was good here and is your traditional Chinese American food. The food delivered what I was expecting from the restaurant. The server was very busy serving the whole restaurant, but was efficient and didn't lack in serving everyone quickly. The restaurant is dated and not fancy, but is comfortable and not distracting. The restaurant serves it purpose of a place to eat.
The restaurant is dated but it is clean. Not much of a Chinese atmosphere. But go here for the food. The food was good and tasty. I felt sorry for the waiter that was having to work the whole restaurant and was very busy.Food: 4/5
The food was absolutely delicious, and though they were a bit busy, we got our food quickly. The waiter was very nice, and told us that he didn't speak great English, but he still memorized our orders and got them perfectly. He was very kind and willing to help. The broccoli beef was not edible, the chicken chow mein made my daughter sick, and the portions overall have decreased not that we could eat anyway because the food didn't seem fresh or made with waaaaaay too much fish sauce maybe?? Went there for valentines day with my wonderful girlfriend and the guy serving us was super baller and the food was pretty good but not the best Chinese food I've ever had. Atmosphere was 10 out of 10 tho.Food: 4/5
I ordered the hot and sour soup. This is my favorite thing from JS Chinese restaurant. I ordered a large and 2 eggrolls. Pictured is the large bowl with the soup cup. When eaten there it has a ladle making it easier to share. I recommend trying it. The spicy level is like 1 star. I am guessing that you can order it spicier if you want it to be. You can get this soup delivered as well.
