"Fresh-made subs and sides that redefine delicious! JRECK Subs was founded in 1967 when five Northern New York schoolteachers started selling submarine sandwiches out of an old, converted school bus. Their names were Jerry Haley, Robert Martin, Ellis Martin, Charles Lehman, and Keith Waltz. And, if you take the first letter of each of their names and put them together, you get the word, “JRECK.” Since then, JRECK subs stores have opened up throughout New York State and continue to offer the best-tasting subs around. Stopped here on a road trip and was pretty impressed. More open faced hoagie style which was interesting. Ingredients were pretty fresh but nothing too special. Always try to support local spots rather than subway when I can, and this was definitely a solid option.
Second time coming to this location. My boyfriend and I don't have Jrecks where we're from and we go 2 hours out of the way both times. This time we were cutting it close to closing time so we had called ahead. ALEXIS- the sweetheart that she is, stayed open just a little bit longer so we could get our fix! Not only was she great to us, but the subs once again - did NOT disappoint. We will continue to return as long as the service and food is as good as its been!
Stopped for lunch on our way to Niagara Falls. Good fresh food at a reasonable price. Easy to find from the highway.Food: 4/5
Jreck has been our family favorite since the very early 1070s. Thrilled there are the Weedsport and Auburn restaurants. Candy, the owner, works very hard to keep standards at the Jreck high and prices low, even through COVID and the crazy employment situation of today. Once you have had a JRECK sub, you will understand its cult following.
Just moved to town and have stopped by here a few times already, love the subs. great price, if you order extra meat or tell them heavy on something they don't skimp out! really feel like my money goes further here. its also nice to have a good sandwich place in town so close by. seems to be the same rotating staff so already learning names and faces since ill definitely be coming here a lot!

Always has the freshest Rolls for subs and also great deep fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks ! I go here with my kids and we always eat good and have a great time ! The kids really enjoy the Chicken Tenders and the fries are totally awesome ! Excellent Service with a smile !
Here is the thing. I love small family places instead of chains. This one did nothing wrong but this is a Subway clone with far less sub options and some deep fried sides. What makes this better than a Subway or Quiznos? Food was prompt. Staff wonderful. But I just can’t see giving this sub shop five stars when compared to its competition. The food was the most basic minimum for a sub. The site is nothing special. The price is average. I tried and couldn’t come up with a reason this is worth more than three stars. Would I come back? Nah. I’d try something new. So I guess three stars it is.
Good subs and a wide selection of foods they were very nice and they gave us more respect than other places
Love Jreck Subs but not so much this one! Paid 3.49 plus tax for 5 Mac and cheese bites and the subs were not made carefully, fell apart before I got back to my hotel .5 miles away
