Good option for quick lunch. Appetizer platter was probably not the best choice. The green beans were fresh. The tomato paste fried rice was stellar under the beef. Got one to go without the meat. The drinks of course are their flagships. Finished before I can take a pic.
My first time trying Joy Yee and I didn’t disappoint. Their menu was quite extensive drinks and food. I got the strawberry smoothie and their spicy Szechuan beef with tomato rice. It was incredibly delicious, fresh, and just the right spice. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Definitely another "not my first time here, but first Google Review" for this place! Been coming here for many years and the friendly service and hearty quality of food has remained the same. This Joy Yee's relocated down the street on the corner from their original location. I have ordered take-out from this new location during the height of COVID-19, but this review is for dining in for the first time since their move. Pictured and ordered here are Crab Rangoon, Fried Shrimp Shumai, Orange Chicken served w/ Steamed White Rice on the side, and Tom Yum Chicken Soup also served w/ Steamed White Rice on the side video also posted in my Photos and Joy Yee's Photos>Videos. First time having the Tom Yum Chicken Soup and it was a very large portion can serve 2, I think and had a nice level of heat! Would order the Tom Yum Shrimp Soup next time. Would have loved to order one of their famous smoothies with tapioca but was way too stuffed. Definitely next time! Features: Masks not required but servers and some customers continue to do so. Servers sanitize seats and tables in-between customers.
So many choices. Reasonable price. However don’t expect you would have fresh seafood with such price. And for people who don’t have sweet teeth, try to ask them not to add extra sugar.
So many options I love it but the worst part is trying to decide which one to eat. I love getting their stir fried noodles and pho. The second time I went the pho broth was not as good but still good but on sweeter side. Bubble tea is very good here. Parking: Street parking only

This is a wonderful casual Asian food restaurant for dine in and take out right in the center of Evanston. The menu is huge literally! and expansive. I love how there are photos of every dish. The food is delicious. My only complaint is that there was at least 20 minutes between my food coming out and my partner’s food. I am sure it was an oversight and I really do recommend this restaurant.
Recommend: Lemongrass chicken noodles Affordable meals with a very big portion. Ee-fu noodles were well cooked and had a nice garlicky flavor.
Went after football game. Hectic place, an indication the food's good and staff wants to turn tables. To describe the menu as "huge" would be an understatement, it might take 10 minutes to read the book-like selection of food and drink. Fun for groups. Splurge, and order a bunch of apps and entrees for your table, the food is reasonably priced for the portion size and quality.
