Excellent Mediterranean green salad and black rice bowls. This place had tasty food and nice service. We were looking for healthy and great tasting food and ended up going back there a few times. The fact that food is priced very reasonably compared to other places in downtown, is only a plus. It may not look very inviting from the outside, but give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.
This is the best tasting Mediterranean food I have had in the US. Every meal was just perfect. I could eat here every day. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. The only downfall was the hostess. She did not know what to do. She was running around not doing anything. There were 15 people at the entrance all cramped up waiting and she was gone somewhere. She was asking people repetitive questions and just causing chaos. Wish you had a better and more relaxed person creating the first impression of this amazingly delicious restaurant.
Absolutely delicious food. Would definitely go again. Ordering a variety of the small plates was such a great way to taste all of the wonderful flavors.Dine in: Yes
Wow, First time coming here. We had a party of 12 in the back room. Great service, great atmosphere. I had the Trophy Elk Chilli. Amazing!?!? Everyone was raving about how good their dishes were. I would definitely go back.
I love Mediterranean ... Middle Eastern Lebanese and Ethiopian, etc food. The dishes served here were balanced and bright and mouth watering but the menu was surprisingly limited and lacking ... there was no mezza platters to sample spreads and veggies, and meats ... what better way to understand the quality of the food and the faithfulness blended with engenuity of the chef and family recipes than to be able to order a platter of these ... and no dish of pickles, radishes, olives, etc that always present on a dinner table at a Lebanese home. So we ordered these things a la carte and while they were good to very good ... the portions were r e a l l y small. The baba ganouj was literally three table spoons and the bread was cold and disappointing. We spent $150 sampling the menu and found everything lacking in portion size and also interestingly enough - diversity. A dish tended to have one overwhelming spice uniformly applied to everything so it got monotonous and unsatisfying. Of the four entries ordered the elk chili, beef shawarma, chicken kabobs, and a forbidden bowl - all were disappointing ... infact despite the small portions. We all had left overs because the food didn't incite lick your bowl clean enjoyment. So I would recommend to not recommend dining here ... B - QUALITY C - PRICE AND PORTIONS Features: Hostess and servers not wearing masks ... we did at all times when we were not actively dining.
What a delightful Middle Eastern place! The ambience is nice and the staff is very attentive. The food is simply wonderful and so flavorful. Our vegetarian/vegan Household had a soul satisfying meal
I hate to say it but this might be my most favorite dinner place in the country but I don't want ya'll to go piling in okay?!? The food is authentic and consistent. I've taken many people to this restaurant and it never fails. Everyone loves it.
We are still dreaming of the humus with elk steak. Best humus ever. The pita was amazing, as was the salmon appetizer. We were told that the fried cauliflower was the most ordered dish, but it’s taste paled in comparison to the humus. Seriously. Get the humus.
Innovative combinations of Middle Eastern spices and local ingredients. Elk chili with garbanzos and tabbouleh was a delight, and my wife's lamb burger made her extremely happy. Bustling environment and creative cocktails make for a terrific destination
As a vegetarian from India I find it difficult to find places with good vegetarian options. I like to eat food with a little spice and a good mix of masalas. This place has wide range of vegetarian options and they are really delicious. If you're from India or around then definitely try the "Lebanese Chickpea masala" you'll love the masala in it tell them to bring extra breads because you'll need it :p. The falafels & the vegetable flatbread were pretty good and tasty. The ambience of the place is nice. The service was pretty fast and good.
