I love this grocery store , kind of reminds me of the way shopping used to be when I was younger. Love their meat selection as well as the baked goods always fresh and at a good price. Everyone should support local so we can keep local.
One of the worse produce sections I’ve ever seen in the region. Freshness is often w questionable. Also check dates on items in general in the store as they are still sitting on the shelves after they’ve expired.
DISGUSTING!! Management should be ashamed!!! I've seen better looking produce in landfills... I am positively horrified by this locations offering.. EVERYTHING is rotting and expired!!! I can only imagine the amount of food poisoning that occurs out of this place.. Selling rotten / expired food to the unsuspecting public should be illegal and actually enforced, this store is a prime example of why..
Very expensive, but only place to get my milk,their meat is beautiful but veryyyyy expensive.
I posted the picture of the rice. I do not mind it being pricy but it’s so dry and hard that it hurt my mouth. Believe me, part of it as hard as rock. It’s 6pm. They should not sell food like this. Such food should be just discarded. It’s 15.9 per Kg. 1/3 of this container’s worth is 2.48. I don’t mind the price if it’s edible. I’m really very very disappointed with this Independent Store. 0 Star !!!!!
A mixed-bag experience of a grocery store. Staff are great, it's where you have to go if you want any president's choice products, and the hours of operation are convenient. Checkout is pretty much always quick, and the in-store pharmacy team is also great. Produce and non-protein/bakery perishables never seem to last or are of questionable quality, and we try to avoid purchasing anything "fresh" there. They're easily the most expensive grocery in town especially the meat, and like any other Loblaw brand all the sales are bogo or multiples, which is irritating. Store is clean, big, and well laid out.
It’s a decent Independent Grocer. Friendly staff. This location sells beer and wine. There’s an activity room on the second floor with public washrooms.
This is probably one of the best Independence I've ever been in they are fully stocked and their staff are very attentive
Lots of parking and name brand items as well as pc brand...usually plenty of staff
Love this store. The layout and selection are great! And you can't beat the PC points program! I save up my points all year and am able to buy everything for Christmas dinner for up to 15 ppl just using my points. Huge savings if you ask me. Love it!
