Wow. Just wow. I had the brisket sandwich and my wife had the brisket taco. The flavours were amazing! The brisket was perfectly cooked! We will definitely come back once we visit the island again.
I've been here countless times now and I still don't know what to write in addition to my original 5 star review. I am the type of person to always be trying new restaurants but I can't help but come back here every few weeks either on my own or to show more family and friends. I don't know what else to say other than that this place will blow your mind.
Had the pulled pork Mac and Cheese and beef brisket tacos. Everything was super flavourful. Only thing was the cornbread was made like a small muffin and it was slightly dry. I will still be returning to try more dishes. When it stops raining and outdoor tables are soaking wet. Employees should help wipe and dry tables for seating. I was fine eating in my car but I noticed someone with a cane standing outside to eat.
Great little BBQ place, good selection to choose from. Staff is friendly, prices are good, portion is big, the only thing it was too oily for my taste ... the meats are so rich - I should have paired them with mashed potatoes and not fries. Good experience all together
I’ve eaten here maybe 4-5 times, months and years apart and it’s always delicious. Good bang for your buck. I always have leftovers. Solid bbq joint. 1 sandwich each and 2 large sides split between 3 people is WAY more than enough food.
The 3 meat platter was really good! Definitely recommend the pit beans as a side, especially on a cold afternoon. There is outdoor seating on picnic tables to enjoy your meal. While there were issues with the service, the staff acknowledged the issues, apologized, and promptly provided a solution we were happy with. We will be going back soon!
I first hear of this place from a friend who said they have amazing food and well I gots to know what’s the music all about. We took the ferry early from Vancouver and look at those meals. I made sure I took a picture for you guys lol. We was greeted and served in a decent time. 10-15min, got checked on! Staff was pretty lit and we not even from here
Tonight was our first night trying this place after eyeing it for awhile. We ordered the pork butt sandwich and the Big Crunch poutine and had no complaints. The meat was tender, the food was well seasoned, and the poutine was the perfect consistency. We all agreed that the only downside to the meal was the cornbread which was a little dry and small considering it’s $4. We will definitely be going back!
Recommend getting the pulled pork poutine, it was cheesy, meaty, and huge. It was the best out of everything I got, including the 3 meats pork butt, brisket, and pork ribs. For sides, I recommend the coleslaw. it was a huge portion too. Pork ribs are available after 11:30am. The parking lot is small but there is street parking. The picnic tables setup outside are clean also. There are about 10 tables.
Ordered 3 brisket sandwiches, small tators, small fries and 3 cans of pop. Came to just over $50. Sandwiches weren’t very big but were very tasty. Sides were very good and portions were great for “small”. There is only outdoor seating and one of my teenage sons left his vax card at home, so we weren’t allowed to eat on the property or outside and had to eat in my car. Not their fault. I understand this is a govt enforced rule. That didn’t impact my review rating. Food was good but I thought it was a bit pricey for what we got.
