First time I had Jollibee. Aside from the friendly cashier, really nothing stood out as a unique experience. Prices are high for what you get and the menu is a bit odd. I had a spicy chicken sandwich and it was ok. Maybe next time I’ll need to try the spaghetti?
Eating Jollibee in Toronto has been quite an experience, since the day the franchise opened, complete with long lines that accompanied it. This time around, the city just survived a snowstorm, and we walked into the restaurant without any waiting time. I like Jollibee chicken because in general I prefer drumsticks and thighs, and in Jollibee there is no white meat in the menu so if you don't like dark meat, you may want to reconsider. The fried chicken and fries come with gravy for dipping, and when I requested, the restaurant didn't have spicy sauce in stock. Personally I prefer hot sauce with my chicken or fries, but I came with a friend who likes gravy as sauce, and he ate happily, so it's good if you swing that way. The one complaint I had was that this location has one entrance only, facing the parking lot no entrance from inside the mall, and the path was slippery after the snowstorm. It was dangerous to walk between the mall entrance and the restaurant, and extra care should be given to ensure safe passage for customers.
I enjoyed every little bit of the fried chicken. First time visiting a Jolibee as we dont have any in mtl. It was not a disappointment. Chicken was very tasty and juicy with a very clean breading that made it feel healthier than other places despite it being deep fried. It was amazing compared to KFC if it is even comparable. I would even dare say it was a better than Popeyes. The spicy is pretty intense so be wary. If sriracha is too spicy for you dont opt for the spicy chicken. Their gravy tasted different though. I think somehow I prefer the gravy from KFC The spaghetti was not that great tbh. It doesn’t justify the hype people give it. Pretty basic and it might be at this location only but it was a tad too sweet. Their pies were pretty delicious as well. I was always told to try their peach mango pies and it was delightful. It was pricey overall but definitely worthwhile. Highly recommended if you enjoy fried chicken
Forgot to take a picture of the chicken, ate it. It was good! I had a coupon and used the app for mobile ordering! It all went smooth and quick! Good ordering experience. They don’t have hot sauce btw. They gave me plates when requested. I had their one piece with spaghetti and it was amazing! This time I had the 10 pc bucket with 2 gravy’s and 4 drinks for $22.00. The skin was crispy and so good dipped in gravy! Overall would eat again!
The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. Good selection of food. I ordered the Palabok Fiesta with a piece of fried chicken spicy thigh. The palabok was a good portion and the spicy chicken was actually spicy. A little pricey but I still recommend.
The place is clean. Great service. But sad to say, I ordered palabok with spicy fried chicken, the fried chicken was not well cooked, did not finish it bec i saw red or blood. Hope this would not happen again.Food: 1/5
Service was fast, staff friendly and informed us of promotions. Chicken was crunchy and spaghetti was so good! Peach mango pie, as always, tasted soooooo good. Would dine in again when in the area.
Wait time is too long. The chicken is very fatty and oily. Spicy wasn’t even spicy, at all. The fries aren’t the best either. The rice and gravy is good though. I’d probably choose popeyes over jolibee next time, though.
5 star for service but only 3 for food. Ordered a sandwich and spicy chicken on the side. Spicy chicken was nice and warm and hot but the chicken in the sandwich was cold and dry. Requested to make a new one fresh off the fryer and made the sandwich taste 10 times better; absolutely no exaggeration here. Always ask for freshly fried chicken. So why only 3 stars then? Cuz Jollybee in general has nothing unique to offer when you compare it against established players like KFC and Popeyes. I've tried Jollybee for the first time in Manilla and I wasn't awed with what they had to offer. Again, nothing against the franchise; just keep your expectations in check and you'd like it just fine.
Chicken was delicious. Juicy, yet not too fatty and lots of dark meat if it's what you prefer. We got the crispy chicken and everyone enjoyed it! Not a huge fan of the gravy as it was quite watery. It was interesting to try a sweeter flavour of gravy.
