Story

Welcome to the Joint Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Centre

Here at the Joint, we strive to provide a positive experience for your injury management and recovery. We are lucky to have some of the most enthusiastic and progressive therapists on our team; who celebrate movement, humour, and education.

We understand that having an injury or other physical ailment can take a toll on your overall quality of life. We want to provide the knowledge, support, and encouragement you need to get moving and feeling better.

Our approach is anchored in the sports injury philosophy to identify and address the underlying source of injury, while prioritizing your body’s maximum return to function. That being said, our clients come from a range of backgrounds and experiences; there is no “typical” client here at the Joint. Rather, we try our best to welcome everyone and treat them with their individual needs and abilities in mind.

Our front end staff work hard to provide you with a positive experience and to be as accommodating as possible. Please contact us to book an appointment or address any questions or concerns you might have regarding treatment at the Joint Physiotherapy.

We offer a variety of treatment options that are provided by a team of spirited, compassionate therapists; you can find more information on our website.

Words cannot express how impressive this establishment is. The quality of care they provide their clients is far beyond a five star rating.

Have been going to see Eddy and Tara for years. Have tendinitis settling in both arms, and they've done wonders for helping keep it under control and getting me back on track. HUGELY impressed with their work.

I used to get a lot of unexplained injuries, and since I'm very athletic everyone just assumed it was sport related. I went to physio, chiropracters, naturopaths, doctors, sports doctors, etc. I used to regularly go to David Dasilva who is another physiotherapist in town, but he would always just give up when he couldn't figure out what was wrong with me, because my "injuries" wouldn't respond to typical treatment. And every other professional I went to for help did the same, they just gave up. So then I decided to go to the Joint. My physiotherapist at the Joint was amazing. She never gave up on me and kept trying, she tried so hard to help me. She tried way more things than anyone has ever done for me, and the best thing of all is she was able to admit she didn't know what was wrong, then referred me to a specialist that worked at the joint, and she was able to diagnose me properly, and with the correct treatment, I was literally healed within a few days. It turns out all this time, for years, I've been suffering neurological issues and nerve problems that everyone was always misdiagnosing, and out of all the doctors and professionals I went to over the years, the only place that was determined enough to keep trying to help me and get to the bottom of it, was the Joint! Thanks to them, I have learned how to cope with my nerve problems and I am back to playing my sports and doing what I love! I am very grateful to them and definitely recommend the Joint to everyone. They go above and beyond to help their patients!
