About JCHC: Recently ranked in the top 100 critical access hospitals in the nation, JCHC is a community hospital that is owned and operated by a hospital district. JCHC is a 25 bed critical access hospital, 50 bed nursing home and an outpatient clinic. 7 Family Doctors, 3 PAs and one General surgeon are on staff. JCHC is a modern facility that recently built a new ED and remodeled many departments, including the laboratory. A new nursing home will be completed in the spring of 2016.
About Buffalo: 5,000 residents live at the foot of the Big Horn mountain range in north-central Wyoming. A busy main street and abundant outdoor activities year round attract visitors. JCSD1 school system is comprised of 5 schools. 4 of the buildings are new since 2006. There are larger communities within an easy driving distance for shopping, but most people can find all that they need in town.
