This is a fantastic motel, with an owner who goes above and beyond for his guests. The rooms are spacious, very clean, have excellent mattresses and a great shower. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay at more than reasonable rates, you found your place!Rooms: 5/5
We stayed in the suites, the rooms were clean and very nice. The kitchen had everything that was needed, dishes, cups, cutlery, etc. The owner is extremely nice and accommodating. My daughter loved the pool and spent the night in the pool. I would definitely recommend staying at John's Motel !!!
This past week took a trip around Gaspe, PEI and Cabot trail and after staying in 4 motel /hotel/auberge , Johns Motel was the best by far. Owner/manager is super freindly and helpful and although not new the room was very clean and up to date with 2 beds and was better than I expected. The kitchen is a big as my own at home with full size modern appliances and table , a strong AC thermopump to top it off and he had the best price of all the rentals. Didn't have time to try the pool but it looked very clean. Perfect for a small family on a budget I highly recommend and will definitely try to stay there again if I go up that way again.
Nice, clean, and quiet and for a great price. We got in a little late and left by check out the next day so didn't use the pool or even then TV but the pool looked nice and clean and other patrons said it was very nice. The internet was fairly fast.I'd recommend this place it's just beyond the "attractions" and thus cheaper and quieter.. PS John is a very helpful guy and is quick to look after your needs
John's Motel looks older & a little tired on the outside. The owner John's son - l think was extremely helpful in making sure our stay was comfortable & special--answering all our questions with a smile...truly a very nice man. Gave us a quiet room in the lower area- Outside pool was inviting, with lots of lounge chairs. Our room was spacious & clean -wood panelling walls, with fan & cross breeze didn't need air conditioning....comfy bed-got a good night sleep-coffee maker, eating table & 2 comfortable highback chairs to watch TV. Unfortunately no fridge or microwave-- but we managed without-- a nice surprise.
Room had a big kitchen in it. You need to request room with A/C. Also has outdoor pool. John the owner is very sweet and accommodating. Rooms are very clean but outdated.
Nice clean motel. Dollard is the manager, he is very helpful and friendly. There is a pool here as well, but no laundry laundromat is located just up the road. Great value for a quiet, clean place to stay. Thanks Dollard!!!
The friendliest place I have ever stayed. The service was outstanding, the rooms were impeccably clean and our pet was allowed. The decor is great too! Don’t change a thing.
Great experience ... we found our new favourite spot in the area. Willingly accommodated us with our ATV trailer parking and always ready to help in anyway he could Rooms were spotless and huge! With a great FULL kitchen with lots of work space! Wonderful and affordable. highly recommend if you’re in the area.
The price was right, room was clean and quiet and did not have a stale smell like some other motels I've stayed at. The shower felt awesome after a hard days work, bed was super comfy. Host was friendly. Internet was fast enough to stream YouTube so that's all I needed. The older motel style decor matches the price and I would definitely stay there again. Fo some odd reason hotels in Bathurst are super expensive but this place was reasonably priced.
