The administrator at the school gate the lady with the red vest and sunglasses every day Do you know that you are very rude? This should not be the school's representative, Shouting and unreasonable demands! We understand that due to safety concerns, all vehicles need to park on nearby streets and pick up children on foot. But have you considered that traffic on nearby streets could be a safety hazard? Running the kids around every day is an unpleasant journey!
The teaching there is decent, but some lunch monitors slack off.
I have a son who's been there for a year. School seems to be well maintained... except in the winter where they don't really dig out the field. And sometimes they do a poor job of clearing the sidewalks in front of the school. I was witness to an incident where an older lady was going to pick up her grand kid from school and slipped on the ice and broke her arm because the field was not properly maintained and the ice was camouflaged in the snow. It was odd that the school did not call for police or ambulance immediately, they seemed to pause.. so I would say maybe they are not well versed in emergency procedures. Rain days are interesting too, because they don't ring the early bell really early. I don't know what the official policy is, but they seem to like to let the kids just stand out there in the rain or maybe because they are inside they are unaware that it is raining outside? As a result, they don't ring the earlier bell until maybe 5 minutes earlier than the regular bell? This also happened on some of the colder days. where they were supposed to let the kids into the school earlier, if the temperature drops below a certain threshold. I remarked to a teacher one day on why they were letting in kids early on this day.. and not the day before.. because on the day before it was much, much colder. It seems like the people controlling the bell don't really have a good sense or are not aware of what the weather is like outside as these incidents are not isolated. I think as a result of these behaviors a lot of parents seem to bring their kids in at the last minute of school or late. So if you're thinking of dropping off your child be ready for a huge line up of cars, especially when its close to the bell. Also expect a large line up of cars after school is finished if you are not prepared to go there early and wait about thirty minutes in line for school to end.
They are outside for recess in -20 degrees
they let you out in 40 degree weather
it was very nice seeing everyone smile and laugh but now in 2016 idk if banning hand sanitizes is a good idea as well as there are many rumors about banning lunch/snack monitoring i have heard many other thing that might take hours to say but over all i would give JMPS a 4 star rating maybe they should fix some things after this summur
some naruto wannabe tackled me to the ground twice.
Teachers were nice.
Well maintained
