I could get lost in here for hours. The store is huge but well organized. Between the map and the friendly staff you will find what you're looking for. Lots of old and harder to find books.

I absolutely love this place. I heard about it through some website that had attractions specific to certain states and the idea intrigued me. There are so many books all around! Definitely a place for the book lover to snake through on a rainy day!

Love this place, if you appreciate old books, you can spend many hours browsing the shelves. I find some new treasure each time I go. Staff is super nice and helpful.

I visited the store with my daughter and husband to browse and buy a couple of books. While the Detroit store had a large selection, I was severely irritated by the employees offering help in each isle I went down. Their assistance was rather condescending as well. When I did have a book in mind, I decided to allow them to assist me. They were less than helpful. I will frequent other used book stores instead of this one...The ferndale location is smaller, but less annoying.
