I went to JIYU Thai Seafood Hot Pot on a Sunday evening with a group of friends, and we had such a great time. The first thing you notice when you walk in is how nice the place looks—the decor is modern, clean, and just has a really cool vibe. It’s the kind of spot that feels a little fancy but still totally welcoming.nnWe ordered the seafood platter, and honestly, it was amazing. It came out beautifully presented on ice and had such a great variety: crab, abalone, shrimp tofu, scallops, and more. Everything tasted super fresh, and there was also unlimited meats, which made it even better. Between the seafood and the meats, we were definitely full by the end. The broths were flavorful, and cooking everything at the table together made it a fun, interactive experience.nnThe desserts were a nice surprise! They had mousse cakes and even soft-serve ice cream, which was such a good way to wrap up the meal. It’s not something you always get at a hot pot place, so that really stood out.nnService was on point, too—super friendly and quick to help us with anything we needed. They kept the table stocked and made sure we were having a good time.nnOverall, JIYU has everything you want: great food, an awesome seafood platter, nice desserts, and a really cool ambiance. It’s a perfect spot to go with friends, especially if you love hot pot and seafood. I’d definitely go back!
First Thai hot pot place I’ve tried and it’s pretty good. We got the For Two Platter which comes with a platter of seafood, platter of vegetables, unlimited beef and lamb slices, fried rice and the plate of snack with fries, popcorn chicken and onion rings. This was pretty worth it because at the end we were pretty full, we honestly didn’t even get anymore meat after we finished everything. They also have a sauce bar which was kinda limited and unlimited dessert bar that was ok, you can tell the desserts were left out for awhile. The food came out pretty fast and the service was your typical Asian restaurants, quick but not super attention to details so don’t expect anything crazy. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice, when you walk in you can see the decor and renovations is super nice and they really put some thought into it. The interior looks and feels nice and expensive. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy Thai cuisine flavours and seafoods!

This restaurant is a hidden gem! I was recommend by a friend of mine as I love Thai food and recently tried hot pot.nnLove the flavours of the hot pot but unfortunately they were out of the Thai Coconut soup base both times that I went. The lunch deal is a great deal with everything that was provided. I love the AYCE dessert as there are many options and the servers are beyond hospitable and attentive for service. Would highly recommend and come back to this place several times, especially in the winter The environment/aesthetic is beautiful and modern and very clean.
