We loved it! Service was super good! Very professional and kind! We even got some advice on the places to see on our trip! I loved their meat, their burgers are super juicy and the fries are really good too! Including the poutine! Loved their little place to seat! Very cosy! We had a great time!

Stopped by for lunch before we headed home. Gal that took our order was very friendly. Ordered two fatboy burger platters - wow!!! Burgers were so tasty, homemade patty-delicious!!!! And the fries-huge portion. Will definately stop in again. You should too- you won’t be disappointed.
We only go to Jimmy's when we are in town. They are the best restaurant in portage. The staff remembers my family and i and the food is great. I can not say enough good things about them or the food... only that they are the best...A +++Food: 5/5
I heard about "Jimmys" ... I've eaten and made a lot of burgers in this life, I eaten at a pile of these "small town restaurants" supposed to be so good and then they overcompensate with salt or novelty ingredients, sometimes they just make this over the top behemoth burger. I Finally tried Jimmy's. The banquet burger to be specific.... Wow Beautiful, fresh soft bun, perfectly balanced amout of chili on top, like literally I did not lose a bite, as I chewed the burger I'd use my tongue and massage out a piece of the meat to get the flavor of that alone isolated, it was heaven, not over seasoned not over cooked, everything was balanced as if Thanos has made it with the Infinity Gauntlet himself. I mean this with the utmost sincerity and thanks, but that was the Best Burger I have ever eaten in my entire life. I'm 43, been all over to many restaurants. I will have a hard time ever passing Jimmy's again without a Banquet burger on my mind or likely in my hand, I will schedule my children's Dr's appointments in Winnipeg around Jimmy's hours of operation. My life will never be the same, Thank you. Live long and prosper
The place looks quant and inviting. Staff was very friendly and engaging. Food was served promptly and hot. I had the Fatboy combo and it was arguably the best chili burger I've ever had. I will definitely be back, that's a guarantee
I love their fatboy burgers. It's a flavor I crave from time to time. Too bad I don't live in the same city. Kid-friendliness: They have video games to keep the kids busy while your food is made.

Jimmy's Submarines and Dairy Delight in Portage La Prairie easily make the best fries that I've ever had. EVER! The sub bun is very fresh and the are not cheap on the toppings.
