Entrance is shared with the bank. Go in and use door to immediate left. Expect the same here as any other location. Food is consistent. Bathrooms are clean. Location is a bit weird to get to. Need to drive through Cub parking lot or use 96 which is inconvenient. Parking is limited but I’ve never had an issue. Recently paved parking.
We paid $74 for 4 sub sandwiches. No combos, no cookies, no sodas, just 4 sandwiches! I was floored when she told us $74. They offer no bread or cheese choices like Subway. We will NEVER EVER eat Jimmy Johns again. And I love the sign on the door: Be nice to our employees who do show up. Wow! Really? "show up" ?? Don't you pay them to show up?
UPDATE: Don't place orders for future pickup, they will make them immediately and your food will sit on the sheet forever. This is a reoccurring issue that management clearly doesn't care about despite their response to my original review. Probably wouldn't have come back if it weren't for coworkers who wanted to eat here. Original review: Curbside is joke, it doesn't work, don't use it, and definitely dont tip because they wont do it anyway. They also made my food almost an hour before it was scheduled to be picked up. It's a shame they are incapable of doing this because other than this issue they aren't bad. Don't offer a service if you aren't going to actually do it. I waited out front after "checking in" for 10 minutes before just going in and getting it myself. I saw my order right on the shelf with "CURBSIDE" all in caps on the receipt. Also 7 employees standing around looking for something to do. I will admit the staff seemed polite when I asked for a drink tray. Really disappointed and frustrated overall. There are plenty of other great places to get lunch around the area though. If you haven't been to Casa lupita down the road I would highly recommend it
Delivery is super slow. It took over 50 minutes for my order to get delivered. When I called the store they just said keep waiting he has 6 deliveries. So much for freaky fast.
Food was good and what you’d expect for a Jimmy John’s. The staff seem to regard customers as more of a hassle than a customer. No greeting or acknowledgement when walking in, asked for our order, pointed to the counter, and that was the extent of interaction. Sandwiches took a fairly long time to be prepared for being the only customers there. Overall a negative experience with a hostile environment that doesn’t feel very welcoming towards its customers.
Communication. The staff seems nice enough, but don’t seem to know how to say “Can I help you?” They all stand around not looking at you. I was the only one in the store, waiting at the register, and not one person acknowledged me including the person at the register. I was there to pick up an order that they still had behind the counter despite ordering it 10-15 minutes prior. I only received acknowledgement, when a girl came out and told me to move my car stating she had to move cones backI sense she may have been insinuating I had moved cones in their lot. I didn’t. If you are going to close off your parking lot, put up signs where to park and signs ACTUALLY blocking off the lot-Communicate.
They wouldn't put the Caesar chicken stuff on bread. They said that management does not want them doing that. That is the most ridiculous thing. And they have a sign saying please be nice to us for the worker shortage, well 10 people behind the counter does not look like a shortage. Not coming here again.
My unwich was good, enjoyed my diet/cherry Coke fountain mix...but what happened in the last year JJ to your cookies? I first got a Triple Chocolate cookie that has Ghirardelli Chocolate in it...super gross. Super freaking dry and the chocolate tasted like it was soaked in cleaner. Expiration wasn't until December of 2022... so the manager allowed me to swap for an Old Fashioned Oatmeal Raisin cookie...still dry as hell. Thanks - I'll be sure to fully enjoy my new pancake-shaped biscotti as I focus on anti-hydrating the rest of the day. Seriously, are they dehydrating their cookies before they package them to save on shipping weight or something? Must be a new vendor...and they're severely underperforming. Features: No dividers, no marks, no temp checks.
Skimpiest sandwich I'd EVER had from JJS. I asked for no Tom's extra Provolone leave bread in they clear the inners. However the Turkey and Cheese are so scarce that it's like eating bread. I have JJS twice a week from other locations and know this is not acceptable. Please help your staff get it right. I will try this location again. Just teach proper portions. Thank you.
I can't even begin to explain how great the service is here! The staff is fantastic and is always so generous when it comes to ordering your sandwich. Not to mention the lightning fast team that works there! Those guys kick major butt and deserve to be recognized for it. My sandwich always tastes amazing and am always looking to go back! Sometimes I show up 3-4 times a week! Always clean lobby and never dirty so I know my food is fresh and fast! I especially like the employee that drives the 2006 Toyota Corolla. He is really the top employee they have there and is really nice! Best sandwich shop in white bear hands down!
