This app is still active as a demo of the technology - but it doesn't tell you this, so you waste an hour of your life putting stuff in the basket, then can't buy it. If that's their attention to detail, imagine what their software platform is like
I’ve used Jiffy regularly and have never had a problem, until I had to speak with their customer service. My latest ordered arrived an hour and a half late, which was fine. It’s a one off, an inconvenience when I had plans but things happen. However, they delivered £13 worth of wrong items and this is where the problems started. I asked for a refund of the items not delivered and they constantly refused even though it was their error. They offered £10 split across my next five orders. Not okay, that’s just getting more money for themselves instead of fixing my request for the items that were missing. They offered to come collect the wrong items and only then offer a refund. That’s fine but raises so many questions about their produce. Would they resell it after it’s been sat in my house? And it is a huge inconvenience for just £13. Asking me to wait around all day instead of refunding the items that was due to their error. Jiffy is fine until you need to use their customer service. It was terrible, raised so many questions about their practises, and downright rude. There are a lot of competitors to Jiffy, use them instead. They obviously don’t value their customers.
So glad they closed down. No more noise early in the morning, no more noise and loud music late at night. No more rubbish left all around the warehouse. it was a nightmare for over a year. The neighbourhood is quiet again. Yay!
I Have been using the app for over a month now. Their deliveries are often faster than advertised in the app. In addition to the great delivery times, I have not experienced any problems that I usually get with other grocery delivery services such as missing or swapped items. Good job, keep up the good work.
Tried the app to order some grocery this morning so we can cook some brunch. ETA 10 minutes, now we are at 55 minutes past that ETA. No tracking, no answer from customer service no matter how long we wait. Save yourself the trouble and use a proper grocery supplier - or go to a real store! It's a shame all these new start ups really do not understand the value of providing good customer service - as without customers you have no business no matter how much money your investors are pouring into you unless founders just want to use the cash for themselves. The market is crowded with competitors - you need to be outstanding on weekends if you want to exist. Edit - 1.5 hrs past ETA someone finally picked up the phone and the rider arrived at the same time. Turns out not enough riders available exaggerated by bad weather. Guys - This just won't work as a service - you NEED to be proactive and communicate to customers these issues and give updated ETAs. We can't sit around waiting for an undetermined amount of time for your order to arrive. Most importantly, you need to pick up the phone when your customer has the issue - it doesn't help picking up the phone when the delivery is at the door??! That's the opposite of customer service. Staff yourself appropriately.
First time using Jiffy, and I am not happy with what has happened. First of all, no tracking available and the order was saying delivered when it wasn’t. Tech issue, no problem, I spoke to support and they confirmed he was on the way. That’s fine, tech problems happen and we move on. My order was some food and some tobacco. I did not receive the tobacco, and thought, hey no problem, I’ll just contact support and they will make it right for me. Welllllll….support have told me that I was asked for ID I definitely wasn’t and that I received the full order I definitely did not! Perhaps if I had received the tobacco I wouldn’t be as temperamental writing this review! and basically I’ve been made to feel like I’m a liar! I have a job, I have better things to do than spend my Friday morning sorting this, but as it stands, Jiffy are telling me misinformation and making me feel like a liar, I’ve lost money and I definitely will never use Jiffy again!
jiffy likes to use and abuse there staff! there business goes bad and they try to fire there staff illegally instead of laying them off legally! dont spend your money with this company your paying them to mistreat there staff
Horrible, do not install, they not delivery on time! And the costumer service is a joke to say sorry they wanted to give me a credit of £2. Just terrible don’t waste your time.
Waited almost 2 hours with my guest, then cancelled it. Overpriced and rubbish service
Got an email saying they are closing down their delivery service. No real surprise as their delivery service was terrible.
