Jia Xing Restaurant

Thought we'd try a new place for Chinese takeout and picked JA XING. We picked a busy day family day to order. They gave us an accurate wait time and were spot on. On pick up the restaurant was clean and organized. The cashier was very friendly. Food was outstanding and we will be back very soon. Can't wait to try the other items in the menu.

Have lived in Caledonia for 7 yrs, but never get Chinese takeout, as I've had bad experiences in the past. But husband and kids wanted it, so we decided to try Jia Xing. I love hot and sour soup, so I tried that. Also got chicken balls, beef fried rice, beef and mix veg, and sweet and sour pork. When we opened the takeout containers we were in shock... they actually pack the containers so full it's almost spilling out! Then I tried a chicken ball, which, honestly, I've never liked in the past. It had a massive chunk of chicken breast, very little coating, but insanely crispy! Even the next day the leftover chicken balls were still crispy. I ordered a large hot and sour... I have a hot and sour soup addiction... this was honestly the best one I've ever had. Very, very authentic. Everything was so delicious, not greasy at all, very light. Not overly salty, just flavourful. You can tell they change their oil in their deep fryer more than they actually need to. The food tastes fresh. I don't often leave reviews, but I'm really impressed by this establishment. You should check it out.

My wife and I moved in Caledonia recently and this was our first time to be at this restaurant. Mind it my wife is Asian so we been eating Chinese food for ever. There food was disgusting, customer service bad, order chow mein and gave us fried bean sprout and said that's chow mein. We returned it and money wasted. 99 percent of the time I don't leave bad reviews unless it's really bad. I hope the owner will realize that customer service is key to run the business

Since the ownership has changed, the new people are not putting out the same food quality. This used to be the best Chinese food in and around Caledonia, Maybe they can bring back the great food.

super delicious! And it’s very cheap. I don’t understand why someone give them one star? In 2022, you can get one meal only $10, when you go to McDonald’s, it’s more than $10!

Food was cold, inaccurate order, forgot the sauce. Called and they told me to come back and get it. Sesame Chicken was dry with no flavour. Used to order here frequently but it has gone downhill.

We always order from here! Probably once and month : great food, service, and quality! We love their food! SUPER FAST too, even with how busy they are!

This is the best chinese food i’ve ever had and In chinese myself. I’ve been going here for probably over 10 years and it is the best. The chicken fried rice and wonton soup are my personal favourites.
