A wonderful, educational exhibit, "Brother Can You Spare a Dime." It was the last day so I'm glad I got there. I also checked out the Museum's ongoing exhibit again that depicts the Jewish experience in Milwaukee as well as across the globe. Of course it's an indescribably sad story, but a story that must be told now and forever. Everyone should experience the exhibit. It's so informative and arranged in sections of the complete story. Every facet of Jewish life is laid out before your eyes with photos and artifacts and stories. It's a wonderful museum. Milwaukee is fortunate to have this.
The Jews in Space exhibit was really wonderful - a mix of history of Jewish astronomers, astronauts, and science fiction writers and characters. Some in-depth history, and a nice touch of fun and humor. The heavens are telling the glory of God. Live long and prosper.
I have been to the beautifully and thoughtfully curated exhibits and I have been able to attend a few of their panel discussions and presentations. Not only are the organizers welcoming, other attendees are equally friendly. I wish I was able to take more advantage of all they offer, I have not had a bad or even so so experience!
Great place, very inviting and friendly staff. The exhibits are amazing and very informational, you really learn alot about the Jewish people that came to milwaukee. Also their current Jews in space exhibit is fun to look at and educational. It show cases the people who have made history for the Jewish people in space exploration and science fiction. Also having the movie SPACE BALLS playing was so great.
The Jewish Museum of Milwaukee is a wonderful family experience. Learn the history of how many of today's Jewish families arrived in Wisconsin, and then the special rotating exhibits are always fun such as Jews in Baseball and Jews in Space. Fun, educational, and all for a great price.

Great museum. So very powerful stuff. Staff/greeters were very kind and helpful. A must see if in the area. Could not rate more highly.
Small educational museum about the history of the Jewish community in Milwaukee. They also currently have a special exhibit about Japanese internment camps during WW2 and admission is free until May. It is a bit small so I spent around an hour here. Would recommend.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot surePrice for adult entryFree
