I’ve lived in the area for over 4 years & ordered from here for the first time this past weekend. I had the combination feast and was pleasantly surprised at the large serving size. Everything was hot, fresh & delicious as well as reasonably priced. Also ordered a fatoush salad my favorite and was slightly disappointed at how small the serving size was for the salad. But maybe that’s cause I love it so much and simply wanted more! Will definitely be eating from here again & look forward to trying some of the other dishes.
We order from here regularly. The food is always fresh, hot and wonderful. You can really tell that the owner and cooks care about the food they put out. For the price, the portions are more than generous. Especially since prices everywhere are going up. I’ve noticed the prices here have not gone up like others and the quality and quantity have remained consistent. Our favorite Oak Park restaurant. Vegetarian options: Best mezze plate around!
I’ve had the opportunity to travel around the country and I would always try to visit a Mediterranean place when there was one around. This is definitely one of the best I’ve had. I had the Beef Shawarma sandwich with a side of falafel. Recommended dishesSandwich
The kefta was good, the smoothies too, but the shawarma was under seasoned- great place for a fast bite of middle eastern fast food.
Best middle eastern food I have had in a long time. I don't usually like babaganoush, but I ate every bit of theirs. Falafel crispy and flavorful, grape leaves perfect.
First time ordering from this place and it was AMAZING. I'm a picky eater but the chicken shawarma entree was 10/10. Definitely my new go to spot.
Masks required indoors . Able to remove while dining in . Walk up to counter to order . And if eating in ,they will serve it to table . Appetizers , salads, sandwiches , entrees. Soda in cans or dispenser machine . Dining in and 2 separate areas . The beef shish kabob very good , beef marinated tasty. Portions not very big though . Entree comes with rice and grilled veggies , pita bread with hummus ... or no rice and extra veggies for extra fee . Veggie pita sandwich available with Jerusalem salad had too much hummus and tzaziki sauce. Chicken shawarma served with rice pilaf , and grilled veggies. IMO, Shawarma is dry , and that's what person said . Baklava available at the counter , buy single for 1.99 piece or 5 PC asst. 5.99 . Very good . Parking on street , parking lot down the street and FREE on SUNDAYS!
“Lamb kabob” no way! More like bits and pieces of sour lamb. Hummus was gross, vegetables look like frozen veggies and rice is flavorless. Who even writes good reviews for this place!
Friendly staff, the freshest salad I've had in recent memory and freshly brewed aromatic coffee. Bonus points because the food smells just as good inside as it does outside. Portions could be slightly generous for the price. Overall it's ok.Food: 3/5
Reviews were right on! They have one of the best falafels sandwiches eaten! My boy's ask for the shawarma plate and they love it! Definitely recommend.
