The service here was fantastic, friendly and fast without being intrusive. The atmosphere was homey, clean, & welcoming. The cocktails were well balanced. Where they lost a star was the food unfortunately. Whilst it was visually appealing, it was sadly very bland. Everyone in my party had to add way more salt and pepper than I typically have to in a restaurant. The orzo, mashed potatoes, and fried zucchini didn't taste to have been salted at all I'm sure they were, but not nearly enough compared to other restaurants I enjoy. The crust to the cheesecake was also super soggy. Maybe some like that, I did not. I might try here again sometime to see if our meal was a fluke. Based on the high reviews I expected better- and since this was a celebration dinner, it was a particular let down.
Fantastic eatery featuring unique takes on American classics. The service is fast and friendly. The patio is dog friendly. Excellent selection of cocktails. Great place to grab a bite after visiting wineries.
Super good burger, glad I got the single cause even that was almost too much. Another table ordered what is arguably the largest fried chicken sandwich I've ever seen in my life. Only complaint is their ketchup is that wierd tasting fancy stuff. Heinz til I die, but that's just my preference. I look forward to returning and attempting the 48oz. Tomahawk steak!
The Prosser House is a hidden !! Nestled at the base of some hills and situated within a vintage home of an era long past. Found this spot on a whim. I was looking for good hometown cooking and I found it. Kicked off my visit with some "Battered Green beans" which btw should be an alternate choice to fries..for sure!! Ordered the "1896" Burger named after their year of inception..that too was Came with a small cup of clam chowder which did not disappoint. All in all this place delivered some big town flavor in a small town market. Prices are a bit on the higher side but the overall experience more than made up..not a bad spend at all Check out the pics and The Prosser House...you are sure to enjoy it!!

This place definitely gives me local restaurant vibes. The staff seemed to know everyone there and were very friendly with the customers. One side of the establishment has informal seating with a bar and televisions to watch the game and the other side has more family-style seating that is better for conversation. I came on a Sunday when they close at 2pm so only brunch-style foods are available. I got the apple french toast which was pretty tasty. They also have a large selection of alcohol and fun cocktails. One can actually taste different bourbons or whiskeys which reminds me of wine tasting. I would come again when the weather is nicer to eat outside. I did have a hard time finding parking and had to park down the road and walk up to it but they do have a ramp to accommodate disabilities and handicap parking right next to the restaurant. Excellent place!! I'd easily give them an extra star if I could. When we arrived, they were very busy, but they made time to greet us. We went there on a recommendation from the campground we were staying at.... and we're impressed. We were constantly checked on, the staff had conversations with us, our waters were kept full, the food was excellent, awesome Bloody Mary's and great overall atmosphere! We would have loved to try their breakfast, but they didn't open until 11 am and we had to get on the road to head home before that. We enjoy Bloody Mary's and generally try them wherever we travel too.... so yes, we've had them all over the board and beyond appreciate a good one especially with house made mix. Their Bloody Mary was excellent and made with house made mix and some garnishments including what seemed to be a house made pickled carrot wedge. One thing he could consider is offering a unique "loaded" version.... I do believe that would be a huge hit. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.
We went here for my grandmas birthday we loved it here they have really good food we got cheeseburgers they were delicious one of the best burgers, and spinach dip for a appetizer it’s so good they have great customer service the waitress was really nice and we got everything we ordered fast. It’s really nice here it’s clean and a perfect restaurant my grandma also got a martini it was served very fancy, everything here is served fancy, I totally recommend this restaurant it’s a great place.
Hummm, no pickles for a Cuban, not knowing the name of the wine you're serving asked twice? Otherwise... food was good, staff friendly. I'd come back it was that good. Ask them to show you the bottle of whatever they pour.Food: 4/5
