Tax Assist accounts have been far and away the WORST tax service business I have ever dealt with in twenty years of submitting a tax return to the inland revenue. I engaged them last year to produce and submit my tax return, which has still yet to be resolved. They are utterly unresponsive and shamelessly unhelpful. I have been calling them for months to chase up the position of my return but they have never responded to my messages. Their head office has been utterly ineffectual in eliciting a response from the branch I used Bath. I would advise you to avoid this business at all costs, they have been utterly frustrating and disappointing to deal with.
We have been clients with TaxAssist for many years to handle our tax matters. During this time they have always been helpful and attentive. They have been thorough with the Tax returns, which have been submitted on time, and have diligently advised and dealt with any arising correspondence. We would not hesitate to recommend them to handle tax matters
Keith and his team have been my accountants for 14 years and I can't recommend them highly enough. They are excellent communicators always quick to reply I have never had a problem with them. I'm currently jumping through hoops to get a mortgage and Keith and Louise have speedily supplied me with the myriad of forms that the bank seem to require. With their competitive rates and simple monthly payment plans, they are the perfect accountant for small to medium sized business.
Great company with really wonderful staff. They helped me set up my sole trader account when I started doing freelance cinematography services. All of the staff we're really patient in explaining procedures and the at times confusing British tax system and answering all questions, even the ones that are probably silly. I can't recommend them enough.

Steer clear of this company. Made appointment but cancelled it on the day as the accountant was "too busy". Then emailed me to tell me to look elsewhere as they weren't taking on probate work. My consultation wasn't even about probate. Rubbish service. Unreliable. Only got one star because you cannot give zero.
dbconstruct has been has been assisted by this very professional outfit for a number of years. As a self employed person working overseas on occasion, Taxassist have dealt with a number of financial matters on my behalf along with the "slog" of preparing dbconstruct's accounts and tax returns. 5 star service from 5 star staff.
I've used TaxAssist for a couple of years now. Excellent and efficient service from Keith and his colleagues.
I've always found them friendly, efficient and don't mind answering questions re tax returns. I would certainly reccommend them.
