It's fine. It's a little pond with a trail around it and some bridges. We did see a bald eagle here which was awesome!
Beautiful water, scenery and trails. Wonderful place to walk the dog.
Relaxing and beautiful park to go sit and view the beautiful area. Walking path all around. Ducks and birds all over. Bathrooms located close by with a parking lot, and picnic area.
I love seeing what different birds might be there and walking my dogs. It's so pretty and enjoy the paths. I Do worry about the "junk" I see around the water mostly, that people carelessly leave behind after fishing that may harm kids or dogs and other animals! They should be Required to leave it Cleaner than they find it Before leaving, for everyone's enjoyment!
We love walking around this pond. It probably needs a little upkeep around the shores but overall its nice. Lots of picnic tables, fishing, bike paths, and ducks to feed. Nice for an evening stroll.
The whole year we have lived here we haven't ventured out much to any parks or anything. So today we decided to get out and venture walk around the park it was really nice.
If you love the outdoors you will enjoy this park. Lots of trails for walking, running or biking. Descent fishing at the pond and the birds always enjoy some attention. Currently there are no playgrounds for kids.
Beautiful. Lots of Ducks Started fishing at 8am on the shore by the wooden bench, where the water is coming in. No fish for 2 hrs, using yellow power bait and live worms. No luck and sat in the shade. So enjoy and help keep it clean because I got a plastic pudding cup on my fish hook. Enjoy. Great walking trail.
Jensen Park is a beautiful place to take your family and enjoy the wanderful view, take the children to do some fishing and feed the Ducks.
Very beautiful place! My hubby and I have made friends with the ducks. The geese are a little stingy, but probably because Dad Goose was injured in a fishing line and has a hurt leg. Momma Goose is very protective and will hiss at you, but she will not hurt you. However she isn't very nice to the ducks, so when you are feeding them oats, make sure the geese and ducks have their separate feeding areas. Momma Goose likes to bite other ducks. The teenager geese are friendly, tho, and will eat from your hand. Ducks are very cute and friendly, but also cautious. Please only feed them OATS. Steel-cut is their favorite, but quick oats are also very tasty. Oats are super nutritious and healthy for ducks. DO NOT FEED THEM BREAD! BREAD IS HARMFUL FOR DUCKS AND GEESE AND HAS NO NUTRIENTS FOR THEM! Giving a duck or goose bread is like giving a toddler candy. Now, multiply that by how many people feed them in a day. That's like giving a toddler 50 candy bars. It's not good for them. However, oats give them all the vitamins, minerals, protein, carbs, and fiber that they need to survive! Oats are the best way to feed them ALSO they LOVE oats so much! Please do not overfeed them or make large messes, and do not feed them where the water is covered in guana bird poop. Please do not harm or scare our little duck friends, and make sure that when you feed them you are FAR AWAY from any fishermen. We don't want anymore accidents that harm our beautiful waterfowl friends!! Daddy Goose can barely walk because a fishermen was not careful enough and poor guy got badly injured! Restrooms: Very clean! Dog-friendliness: You can being your pets as long as they don't harm or scare away the wildlife. Picnic area: Bring as much food as you want! But please do not feed the ducks or geese UNLESS it is OATS. Feed the seagulls whatever you want.
