Food- 5 STARS!! Service - 5 Stars!! At Monroe for event at Evergreen speedway and stopped here for dinner. Food was authentic and delicious. ONLY reason 4 stars -> they don’t take debit or credit cards. Only cash. They do have ATM on site. They need to figure that out. Times are tough and they take fees but it’s the way people pay now. I recommend eating here. I’ll be back - with cash ….

We came to Monroe to get our truck serviced at Smiley’s and while we were in the waiting room we met a very friendly local who recommended us to Jeno’s for some good food. We decided to try it out and I’m so happy we did!! The prices were reasonable, portions were huge, and delicious! My husband got the baked spaghetti with meatballs and I got the spare rib in baked spaghetti because it intrigued me. The rib was super tender and flaked apart in the dish, it was boneless but I wouldn’t even have cared if there was a bone in it as it was amazing! They only take cash as others have already pointed out which is fine. They had it clearly marked on the window. When we come back in town we will be eating here again!!

perfect little mom and pop shop from the 70s. Authentic. Small town. Greasy spoon. Mom and pop. American Italian If that’s even a thing I do it really well. Who would’ve thought of spare ribs on spaghetti. They did.

Recent update: Still very good. In business since 1970, and not much has changed. 70s style Italian/pizza joint. Cash only. Food is typical for the era, and very well done. Prices rock, making this one of the best values out there. Old review: Had planned on a different restaurant that was not open that evening. Good find. Reminds me of the 70's Italian places we always had. Cash only I missed the sign, but we made it work. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars, is because of the cash-inconvenience. If when they change that, it will accommodate most people. Friendly service, quiet enough for normal table conversation, food was piping hot and very tasty. The pizza was a nice balance of flavors and wonderful smells, The pasta/sausage dish was great. Wife loved her sandwich. Reasonable prices too. Pizza was to-go because our other stuff was that good.

Bring cash! This place is so good- the hot things are hot and the cold things are cold. I met with a client over lunch and the service was the right amount of checking on things and leaving us be. I had the meatball grinder, he had the hot roast beef sub. Hot fries with the right texture of crisp exterior and fluffy insides. I've also had their gyros and lasagna. Next time perhaps a pizza and a beer as they ARE a pizzeria as well as a full bar. Kid-friendliness: Booths, easy bathroom, good kids menu Parking: There's free street parking and alley parking with plenty of space to maneuver a big Buick sedan.

This place was busy on a Friday night, but the food was hot and delicious, and the service was as friendly as ever. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and have always loved the lasagna and the pizza. The staff have always been kind and family oriented, we will keep coming back for the delicious home cooked meals!Recommended dishesSpare Ribs, Lasagna

Great local restaurant! Good food, very popular. Love their baked spaghetti and garlic bread. It's my "go to" order. Staff is great too! Friendly and funny. Kid-friendliness: Family friendly in general.

Jeno's is one of the places that we have been going to for the last 40 years. It really hasn't changed. That is, for me, sometimes so important. They are not pretending to be something that they are not. Not fancy,not posh, you may have to exchange chairs because the one under you may be wobbly, but you really don't mind. Lasagna is hot,loaded with cheese and spareribs and I am not ashamed to say " I ate the whole thing! "If you want an uncomplicated "sole food dinner " Jeno's is your place. Ps. Bring cash,because plastic will get you nowhere .

Amazing food! We ordered oven baked spaghetti and ravioli, both very good taste and covered by cheese, super tasty! I love such small local family owned restaurant, which always bring you special taste with private recipes!

We have lived here for over 30 years and Jenos has been here for 60. This was our first time eating there. Sad, I know. I had a pizza and oh my...the best pizza around here, hands down. Anxious now to try everything else.Food: 5/5
