Jeffrey's Restaurant

My boyfriend and I have this joke. We're breakfast people, so we have been to almost everywhere around Marquette in search of our coffee and morning substance. So he likes to say when we're deciding where to go "How about Jeffrey's ?" He knows it makes me snarl. I'll say, "Sounds great. You know how I love waiting 40 minutes for a table and another 40 minutes for stone cold food. Oh, and paying more for it too!" We laugh it off, and go to the ever so faithful Coachlight restaurant.

The food was good. Standard american diner fair, plenty of options. The portions were big and the prices middle of the road. My only complaint was they are on the slow side. There was only 4 tables there including our group of 5 and it took an hour and a half. I recommend just not if your in a rush.

The food is usually always good. But during our last visit, the service was lacking. We got a table right away and were given menus, but then we waited at least 20 minutes before someone got us drinks. Waiters and waitresses kept walking right by. We felt ignored! We were on a time crunch, too. Then at the end I was waiting for a box for my wife's leftovers. I had to go up to the counter to remind the gentleman again so I could leave.

We we're sitting in our hotel room and had the idea to go to Jeffrey's. We got there at 9:30 and didn't get our food until 10:55. The food was cold. One plus is that the waitress was nice.

Waited one hour for our meal! Friday Fish Fry...Fish was cold. Forgot to serve us the Coleslaw & muffins! Took 20% off bill. Stated that they were scheduled with new staff in front serving & back cooking. Dinning room was only half filled.
