Jawbone Flats Cafe

The atmosphere is fine and the food is also fine. I ordered the German Sausage Skillet, and it was okay. The over easy eggs were good and the sausage was good, but I didn't enjoy the cheese, plus the potatoes & bell peppers. The cheese was pre-sliced Kraft style cheese. The reason why I don't like this style of cheese is because after taking a bite it quickly coats my tongue in it's soft wax consistency, making it hard to enjoy the other flavors through it's filmy barrier. The best way I can describe what I didn't like about the potatoes and bell peppers would be to say they were lite. I wanted more oils and seasoning on them, and maybe a little less firm. They definitely weren't TOO firm, but I would have liked a little less firm. All this being said, if those complaints seem like there not relevant to you, then you should enjoy eating there.

Staff is so so amazing! Food is great as always. I really recommend them to anyone! They even memorize your order if you go in enough!

Don't come on a Sunday, and only order the breakfast. We waited 2 hours for a sad pot roast, covered in gravy that was probably out of a package. But everyone else in the restaurant ordered French toast and it smelled delicious

Nothing special... adequate meeting room in the back where our CMA chapter meets every month.
