I really love the Chicken Caesar wraps and finally found the perfect place for one ~ mmmm ~ the perfect amount of chicken ~ lettuce green lettuce! sauce and cheese. Ohhh it's so delicious!! I've ordered a couple different coffee's and they are absolutely better than Starbucks and anywhere else in town! Butterscotch is so good. I've been ordering through Doordash. The delivery is super quick. The food and coffee will keep me coming back. Thank you all!!
The Java House Café was so much more than I expected. The modern design fooled me as I entered the business. The inside is all open and inviting. I was drawn right away to the amazing homemade items that lined the left side of the café. Crochet bags/purses, animals, stoneware and jewelry. I just loved the attractive and cozy area by the fireplace to relax and enjoy! Oh and the coffee and lunch were perfect. I enjoyed a Mocha Latte and the broccoli cheese soup with a side of bread for lunch. A great choice for this chilly fall day here in Michigan. There is plenty of parking and outdoor seating area too. The prices are reasonable for this kind of café. The friendly and engaging staff is wonderful and charming to chat with. Stop in and relax, you will enjoy the company and yoyr surroundings.
Great local coffee house with top notch high quality brews made fresh daily. Nice cozy atmosphere with the fireplace on during the winter. Also a great supporter of local artisans with items for sale throughout the shop. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Super duper delicious and awesome spot! So happy I found them! Their menu is super robust and filled with fantastic options. The atmosphere is open and airy. They kept it clean, wiping down tables and felt super comfortable. Plus, they came by with a complimentary coffee that they made, asked if we would like it, instead of tossing it. How thoughtful! I appreciate that in customer service. I'll definitely be back and become a regular here! The food and drinks I ordered were also very delicious, made well and the quality of food product was really good! It went above my expectations. If you're ever in South Lyon and want a relaxing spot to spend time with a loved one over a light meal and drinks or just to work. This is it! Their wifi is FAST too! Major Plus!!!!
I’m pretty confident this place gave me food poisoning. I ate a chicken quesadilla last night, and this morning I woke up very sick. Stomach cramps, vomiting, nausea, etc. it’s been almost 10 hours since I started feeling bad and it hasn’t got any better. :/

Favorite coffee shop of all time, forever. The owners of this cafe have put their heart and soul into making this shop unique and God-glorifying! I've been going here since I was in high school. Now that I live out of state, I make sure I stock up on coffee beans whenever I'm in town! The free brewed coffee refills will keep you around, along with the mellow atmosphere. It's a truly joyful place to be! And the baristas are always friendly and welcoming. If you're able to visit around the holiday season, it's even cozier when they light the fireplace and offer live music on Friday and Saturday nights. It is a gem of my small hometown, and I'm not the only one who sees this! Highly recommend.
Let me start by saying that the menu looks impressive. We are camping so I planned to sit in my truck with our dog while the rest of family ate. I ran in to place my to go order just after my kids were seated and the kids were yelled at by the older lady because the 4th seat was empty at their table and I told her that my husband would be in soon that he was with our dog and I wanted to place my order to go and she said that they only do to go orders for emergency reasons. After explaining the situation she agreed to do the to go order but my husband had to place it. When I got the food the egg was runny so I ran it back in and she handed it back to me in 2 minutes on a paper plate with my used silverware and said here, it's fixed. It was still not cooked well. I assume that she threw it in the microwave. Don't waste your money $100 bill, it wasn't worth it!
Great coffee shop. Awesome menu selection. Smells great of course. I got a frozen coffee shake. I can't remember what they call them there, but it was delicious. Plenty of seating inside. Even a fireplace area if I remember correctly. Cool little local crafters section with items for sale. It's great to see the support for the community. It looked like they also have an open mic night or something about to happen. Cool coffee shop. I would recommend!
