This is a wonderful course I would relish the opportunity to play again one day. I played on August 9th 2022 and thoroughly enjoyed the unique layout. The course is challenging but very playable. It's design fits the land and topography without any unnatural feeling holes. The fairways and greens are an exceptionally good condition. Finally, the golf course is surrounded by the most incredible and captivating alpine beauty. Next time, I will be sure to spend more time here.

This has to be one of the most picturesque courses I have ever played. I've been to Banff and Highlands Links I love Stanley Thompson designs, and other Thompson designs. That being said the golf is really what matters and this is a very busy course which can cause some delays but you are pre-warned of this and the 4 1/2 hr rate of play should be expected. The fairways are receptive and the greens are also very playable and fair. One of the par 5 13 I believe has a significant ground hog problem and even makes some of the area two of the bunkers fairly unplayable. Not sure what can be done to correct this but in the end it did detract from the experience. I was lucky in that I managed to get the Alberta resident rate and played here for just under $200 yes $200. It was a golf bucket list course for me so I had to make the trip but at that rate it will be my only visit. It is a 5 star experience but not at that price or even more for out of province visitors If you can afford it it is a must play.
For classy rustic, this place is very nice. The Italian restaurant was pricey, but it was good. The service was very good. The breakfast buffet at the nook was awful, and the service was just mediocre! The dinner at the Great Room was very good; the service was just so-so The rooms were above average, and it's a good thing ours had a portable a/c unit, as it would have gotten quite warm. The resort is definitely understaffed. They couldn't refresh our room for our two-night stay. The setting is very pretty.
Nothing but great things to say about this experience. The JPL golf team led by Troy Mills went above and beyond to ensure a fantastic day. The starter, Cam, was top notch as well! Didn't see any bears but did see a couple of birdies
A great mountain golf course to test your skills, set in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Customer service is exceptional today. And the course plays generous off the tee, and demands a good positional game. Have fun
Absolutely stunning course. There's a reason it's rated as top five in Canada and certainly lived up to it today.
What can I say… How can you criticize a Stanley Thompson course in the midst of the beautiful Rocky Mountains, but somehow I can. As senior golfers with a 22 to 25 handicap, the scores proved to be very difficult especially on the back nine. I think it caters more to an expert level to really be enjoyable but can be very discouraging for novice golfers and left us feeling very frustrated by the time we got to the 18th hole. It proved to be more difficult than we had anticipated and while the views were spectacular and the greens in great shape, we wished it would’ve been easier for the average golfer like us.

Wonderful staff and service. Truly world class. Rooms are a little disappointing however. Clean and tidy but definitely dated and mine had a portable a/c which was obviously a bit loud for sleeping.
