I had their food on ubereats once and told myself I need to try it out at their restaurant cause it was so good !! Went with a couple of friends yesterday. We had their special combo. Came with soup, dumpling, general Tao, beef satay, veggie stir fry and their special fried rice for 28$ each we were 4! Everything was delicious! Their beef satay had pineapple in it which was surprisingly good. I would definitely recommend this place for your go to take Chinese food or to go with large group of friends! Can’t wait to go back!
Love the peking duck just a shame they dont check take out orders even when its not busy. Twice they messed up my order .1st time 2 soups missing. 2nd time dumplings they forgot the peanut sauce. I live far and couldnt go back for it . THEY offered me double the sauce next time and not the dumplings. To me that is poor customer service. If it was busy i woukd understand but it was completely dead and they should have offered a free peanut butter dumpling for next time..
First time Jan 2021. We had wonton soup, egg roll, spring roll, cantonese shrimp chow mein, peanut butter dumplings, and general tao. Soup was nice, but the wontons were too thick. Chow mein was good, just wish they cook the brocolis less, we like them more crunchy. General tao was one of the best in town. They don't "dough" it up like some places. The peanut butter dumplings were ok. The egg roll and spring roll were a big hit. We've been back a few more times, always ordering more and more of the rolls. They are super busy, but super fast too! I usually order at the counter...no more than 5 min wait in-out. Awesome.
service was very unkind. surprisingly rude waiter! . Price went up and quality and quantity down. I was 20 years regular customer and too sad that I can't have same food and services. never go back
Used to be good before. Decided to order take-out. Everything was cold and taste so so. I guess I'll order from La Perle. Much better quality.
So we wanted to try a new place. On the west island, pierrefond and came across this jewel. The staff are outstanding & friendly, and the food, is one of the BEST ASIAN RESTAURANTS. If you are looking for a great place to eat. And not too expensive. You got to check it out.
My family has been going to this restaurant for over 30 years since first moving to DDO from LaSalle I am 38 now with my own family of 4 and it has been the quality and quantity of the food as well as the friendly staff that has kept us going back. The dishes pictured are Black Pepper Chicken old style,Chili Beef with shredded carrots & scallions and Fried Fish with Black Bean Sauce. The chef is still the same from 30 years & although the owners and wait staff have changed, there is no need to concern oneself with worry about the quality of the food; it is still EXCELLENT! I cannot comment on the wait staff but the new owners especially the wife are kind enough, as I've only done takeout orders since ownership of the restaurant changed years ago. Also, takeout orders get a 10% discount
Asked for no chicken in the chow mein, and ended up with no chicken in the entire order It included chicken fried rice . Pineapple chicken was amazing, fried rice was ok, wonton soup was good but the wontons themselves a little thick, chow mein was good but the broccoli florets were way too big. Noodles were too soft but that's my fault for using takeout. spare ribs were flavorful but a little dry. No regrets in ordering but just needs adjustments here and there. LOTS of food. Good prices. the order was for a 2 person meal at 36 ish dollars, you could feed 4.
We went there with family for dinner. There are not so many choices on west island for Chinese food. We tried but to be honestly it won't be our choice in the future. We don't feel service here until making the payment. Good thing is most of Dishes have big size however quality is just normal. Peking duck is completely not worth to try.
Food was good, prices too. But service was okay at best. Waiter seemed annoyed, in a hurry, not friendly at all though the restaurant was almost empty. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian dishes but the Chinese tea is good, the sizzling dishes served on cast iron pans is really good Parking: Easy to get parking because the restaurant is located in a strip mall Wheelchair accessibility: A small ramp is bear the restaurant door
