I have been waiting to eat this ALL DAY~ I’m so disappointed :/ I order the corn coquette; it wasn’t even fully cooked. Luke warm. Hot dog itself was not appealing. I took a bite in the train which Is less than a 2 minute walk so I don’t think time has anything to do with it getting cold fast. It wasn’t full cooked. I don’t know if the speed compensated for the product being properly cooked ~
Interesting take on a hot dog. Different and unique! I got the Kurobuta Terimayo which had pork, fried onions, teriyaki sauce, Japanese mayo and seaweed and the Kurobuta Oroshi which had pork, grated radish, green onions and their special soy sauce. You can make it a combo for an additional $5.98 with fries and a drink. It's kind of expensive. Fun to try if you haven't had one before!
Popped in after swimming at Richmond’s new Community Centre nearby and ordered Kurobuta TeriMayo hotdog and chicken karaage to replenish my burned calories. Both came fairly quickly and provided bursts of flavour. The highlight for me was the Karaage. Wouldn’t mind ordering a few of these and taking it home with some rice!
Japadog is an incredible food experience! Glad to see them setup here in Richmond. The staff are super friendly, great with recommendations, and the food is incredible! It's often hard to choose what to get, as the entire menu is god tier! If you get the chance to experience them on a summer day you won't regret the food experience!
Walked past on the way out of the train station and had to give it a try. Great flavours & friendly service. Would have again.
While I normally love Japadog, today's experience was very disappointing. The fryer was broken so I couldn't order the fries, and since they don't accept cash and their card reader didn't work, they just threw out my hot dog. Not sure why they kept taking orders when the next customer's transaction failed too. I would rather have made this complaint through their website privately but there's no email or contact like that.
Foods are delicious. However.. I got a fried chicken karaage that is burnt outside and raw inside. Quality control needs improvement.......

Poor management, overpriced and customer service needs to improve. The employees are new and the supervisor doesn't provide a properly training. They struggle with every single order and the supervisor was rude with the employees and blamed all customers. In all restaurants/food trucks cashiers repeat the order to make sure the order is correct. Introducing only this Small step would avoid the most of customer's complaints.
Overpriced hotdogs, confused people you order a combo and they give you only the hotdog, I saw they made mistakes with everyone in line in front of me and it wasn't that busy. and the guy in charge is very rude with people. That's a place I'm not coming back for sure. Awful that's all I can say.
