Ok, this place was so good : The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. There was a mix-up with my order, and they even brought me a cinnamon brioche as a thoughtful gesture, which was greatly appreciated. Special thanks to Janique and the entire team for being so welcoming.nnThe sandwich was delicious and well-balanced even if a bit messy to eat!. The breaded chicken, pepper jelly, and salad were all perfectly executed and worked really well together.nnThe decor is a bit on the heavier side aesthetically similar to its sister restaurant, Regine, but that’s purely a matter of personal taste.nnI left feeling very satisfied and even willing to give Regine a second chance because of how positive this experience was. I would definitely come back and would happily recommend this place!
Got the Champi with scotch egg which was good. The scotch egg is covered in chorizo which gives it more flavour than normal scotch eggs. The Champi was good as well but it is essentially just cheese toast with some sautéed mushrooms and pepper sauce. They also had a Cabane a sucre dish on the menu for the season which was good but not amazing. Overall, a Pretty good breakfast but it is still just a breakfast place. The juice shots were also quite good. I would get a juice next time.
The best breakfast place in town.nNot just because the food is AMAZING, and the atmosphere's *chef's kiss*, but the INTEGRITY of the staff!!! Something that has been lost in the food service industry, they not only kept but are applying diligently. It's just a part of their compagny culture and i LOVE IT!nIt's nice to know i can rely on this place when i want to bring friends over and all will leave satisfied without a doubt.
There’s so much to say about this place but I’ll keep it short. First the service, its friendly, fast and maintains then ambiance they are curating for themselves love it. Talking about ambiance I must say that it hit the spot for me, chique modest decor that adds character to the place, old style music that makes you feel peaceful, cheery and warm all at once. The food was quite good egg benedict with duck, the texture of the ingredient is what you would expect from fresh ingredients, the flavors are well balanced, the drink menu has all the classics one would hope to have for brunchthe mimosas we’re spot on and the expresso martini felt quite good. They got the five star not only from what I mentionned but the small detailsyou are greeted with fresh juice on the house, the staff made sure I was enjoying myself through out and then even let me stay after closure to finish my drink I will be going back with friends to try out the rest of the menu. It was a great experience, big thank you to the staff !
The cutest brunch spot in Wellington, Bristol interior, and super lovely and attentive waiters. My waiter Hamza was very welcoming, and super lovely. The atmosphere of Janine was beautiful also.nnI had the Courgette Bread, a great choice, so delicious and so many flavours & textures. I do think my poached eggs were a little under cooked, as I felt a bit funny after, however that’s something that can happen anywhere!nnI’d really recommend this spot, I am dreaming of the courgette bread still…
