I love this place ive been several times. Lots of choices to choose from. The banana butter is so good! I also really like their carrot cake. The service is up to par and i akways enjoy the little daily juice shot that they offer befire your neal it entices you to get one after lol. I will keep going back and I recommend.
Visited Chez Janine on a Saturday early morning, basically right when they opened, and was lucky enough to walk in with no line. I was surprised by how big the place is! The first thing they did when we sat down was offer us a taste of their juice of the day such a unique and special touch.nnWe honestly loved EVERYTHING we ordered. I wish I could’ve tried the whole menu because everything looked incredible. Hands down, one of the best brunch spots in Montreal.nnThat said, I wouldn’t wait in line for an hour to eat here, but to be fair, I wouldn’t wait an hour anywhere . Still, 10/10 recommend if you have the patience and love good brunch food!
If you are looking for a quality place to brunch in Montreal, this is it. It was worth the 30 minute wait time in the line outside. The staff was attentive and brought guests who were waiting in line hot tea. The food was excellent. I did not dislike any of the items we ordered. It was all freshly made. The only negative was that the restaurant was so full sometimes it took our waitress a bit of time to get back to us for mimosa refills and food orders. Out of the 4 brunch spots I tried, this was my favorite.
Went back to this beautiful brunch place once again. Love their petit plateau, the banana butter and mascarpone cream are the best. Both the brunch platters Croque Madame and Oeuf et Boef were exceptional. We also took the roasted sweet potato with tzatziki sauce which was too good.
The food was so delicious! Our servers were amazing and so accommodating especially with our 10 month old. The atmosphere of the restaurant was so gorgeous! We came from Saskatchewan and I chose this restaurant ahead of time because of its high ratings and great reviews and I’m happy to be writing my own. Definitely recommend checking out Janine for brunch!
