It was nice to find this gem with authentic polish food on our road trip. We enjoyed it very much. cacao mint green smoothie There are not gluten free items on the menu but they were able to make cabbage rolls gluten free and they were excellent! The pierogis were delish. Soups look very fresh and flavors change daily. Clean bathroom, free parking, gift items for sale inside the restaurant. Beautiful decor . Frozen food like the many flavors of pierogis for sale to go.
We LOVED our Kielbasa Sandwich. Also the Pierogi’s. Finally, we took home some stuffed cabbage Goebicki sic and I found them very good too.
My wife and mother who is from Poland stopped by here for lunch when we were in the area. This place is clean and cozy, neatly decorated and very comfortable. This didn't prepare us for what we were in for but it should have. After my mom brushed up on her Polish with the owner behind the counter All the food is authentic and homemade we ordered two polish plates and some additional pieorogis. Everything we ate was delicious, warm and absolutely satisfying. The cabbage roll was cooked perfectly, the sourkrout was awesome, kielbasa tasty and smokey and the pierogis were top notch dont sleep on the blueberry ones, I never thought blueberry would be a good pierogi but it was very tasty. My favorites are the potato and cheese but my mom loved the sourkrout ones. We ended up buying a Polish nick knack for our display as well, they have some polish dishes, cups and statues for sale in the shop as well as a cookbook if you want to learn some of the recipes. I cant say enough good things about our visit and we cant wait to come back. This is our go to spot in Westfield now.
Had a wonderful lunch here with a friend. Mixed savory pierogis, blueberry pierogis, chicken soup and golumpki. Everything was excellent - even the chicken soup was so good that I slurped down most of the broth. I don't have much acquaintance with Polish food, but my friend does, and she also thought everything was really good. We both left our plates completely clean :-
We stopped for lunch .. we ordered the polish plate and a fresh juice . If you are new to polish cuisine like us it is a good way to sample the different dishes.. we personally were not a fan of the food but don’t know enough about authentic polish dishes to comment on it .. juice felt watered down.. it is self serve but there is place to sit down and eat ., not much staff .. pretty much just the person behind the counter.. the ambiance is more of a cafe with vibrant decorations with a polish feel..
Pierogis and smoothies are an unexpected but amazing combo. The pierogis were delicious beautifully caramelized onions and so was the smoothie. Yum! I’ll be back.Recommended dishesPierogi with Cheddar, Carmelized Onions, Pierogi
LOVE Janik's. Family owned, super authentic, delicious food! Lots of options and a cute smoothie bar as well. They have a few tables and a wonderful Polish vibe with ceramics for sale. The pierogi and kielbasa combo is a personal favorite. The soup was very nice, too. They also have grab and go by the dozen. So, so good!Food: 4/5
The restaurant is small and clean. There's a mural you can take a picture in front of and tell your friends you went to Poland! The food was excellent. Anna is very friendly. Will definitely go back.
Cute little spot with some very good authentic polish food. Huge portions. Somewhat simple parking across the street in the Stop n Shop lot.Food: 5/5
Omg!! Love this place. I can't wait to go back. We had several different types of pierogies, I had glumpkis and kielbasa. The flavors they have all sounded so good we have to go back and try more. Buffalo chicken was my boyfriend's choice, got the eyebrows raised with a smile of enjoyment. I divided mine up and had sauerkraut with mushrooms , my favorite, one with cabbage and last with sauerkraut & kielbasa. All with the caramelized onions devious. Kielbasa had a great snap and the right amount of seasonings. The glombkis were huge!! Got to go if you are in the mood for Polish
