Story

Welcome! We would like to introduce ourselves: Nasim Yousefi and Jafar Edrisi, and we are the photographers behind JaNa Photography. Along with doing maternity, baby & newborn photography we are also world travelers and story tellers. We spent 2 years traveling around the world to help promote Peace and Environmental conservation.

We discovered the beauty of people as we cycled through 15 countries, which consisted of: Asia, Europe and North America. We loved to travel through these countries to see the real people and capture their story through the lens of our camera.

Previously we had spent 8 years doing computer programming and producing multimedia software for kids. This helped us to open our hearts and to open our eyes to a different perspective to life. After all of these experiences we took our interest in capturing and retelling stories and became professionals in photography. Our love and passion of photography blossomed through capturing the cherished moments of our clients newborns and babies.

We would be honoured to be chosen as your maternity, baby & or Newborn photographer. We will help you to capture and preserve your babies story.

Jaafar is out of the world!! He is a highly professional photographer- timely and efficient, but most important- high quality and sees the world creatively; his pictures are very artistic! My husband and I were amazed by his productions! In Jana, you will have lots of creative ideas and props; they create fairy tales out of our lives. Jaafar is friendly, personable and meticulous. We had an excellent opportunity to capture special little moments that we will treasure forever for our precious baby boy Strongly recommend!
Absolutely wonderful experience! We went to JaNa for our newborn pictures and we couldn't be happier. Jafar is a baby whisper, and the studio was so calm and comfortable for us and our baby. There were tons of options for styling, including some of the most adorable baby accessories I've ever seen! The photos came back quickly and they were absolutely gorgeous. Five stars out of five! Would definitely recommend!
We really enjoyed our maternity and newborn photo shoots. Nasim was really energetic and fun while Jafar was a magician with baby. I learned couple of tricks from him to put my son to sleep

JaNa Photography stands head and shoulders above the rest. My partner and I captured our beautiful maternity pictures with them and they were so stunning that we had to capture our first born’s pictures as well. The photographers, true gems in their field, made us feel incredibly comfortable and at ease. They were attentive to our needs, creative in their approach, and genuinely enthusiastic about helping us preserve our memories. The amount of time they spend capturing pictures does not feel rushed, it’s very relaxed and the prices are incredibly reasonable. The result was a stunning series of photos that beautifully encapsulated the love, anticipation, and excitement we felt. We researched a lot of places but ultimately went with JaNa because we could tell that they were truly invested in seeing people light up from the moments they capture. We did our Maternity and Newborn sessions Nasim and Jafar! They are amazing!! Nasim is super talented and I love our maternity photos! Jafar is a patient artist!! He creates beautiful masterpiece!!
We have had the best experience with JaNa. Extremely professional team with unbeatable skills. Even some of our side shots look awesome.
We just had our newborn photoshoot at this studio. It was just amazing. The studio was comfortable and cozy. Jafar and his staff had great preparation and took fabulous photos of our newborn and my family. Jafar was great with my baby that there was absolutely no hassle and sessions were smooth. Highly recommend to everybody!!
My wife and I had the pleasure working with Nasim and her team for our maternity shoot. We are extremely grateful for picking team JaNa for our maternity shoot and new born baby. They made us feel so comfortable and and relaxed.  I mean usually getting photo taken can be stressful. But this team made the whole experience super smooth, relaxing and fun! Nasim’s personality and attitude is just wonder, she is so funny and made us feel very comfortable while taking pictures! I give this team 5 stars and RECOMMEND HER TO ALL OF YOU. I mean if your looking for a place with fun atmosphere and people the genuinely care! THIS IS RIGHT HERE LOOK NO FURTHER!
