Do not even think about doing business with this company. In fact you can't. I ordered a blower motor a year ago. They took my money and I got no product. BBB had no luck contacting them. They've gone to ground under the cover of COVID 19
Liked it for the first couple of months.... Installed 2013.... Then started malfunctioning. Had to replace convection fan within the first year.. Now more problems. Can not find anyone to service these stoves since they are from Canada. Ordering new parts is expensive and need to be shipped from Canada high shipping costs Person/ Company i purchased from is no longer in business. Dead end when contacting tech support in Canada. Apparently they do no not want to stand behind their products. Compared to others, these stoves are loud and it is annoying. DO NOT BUY... I wish i went with a Harmon or at least something else.
I wanted to express my complete satisfaction with my my Jamestown J1000 and support I recently received form Jamestown. I have an older model 1990 and parts were readily available and a very fair price. The service I received also was excellent. Phone calls were answered, emails were replied to, and parts were shipped fast. same day Thank you.
Don't buy one. Service is horrible. Living close to the warehouse/head office one would think it would be easy to get service. NOT so. Wound up getting a past dealer to perform service work. Would highly recommend Locstone for any new purchases or repairs.
Absolutely the worst pellet stove I have ever owned, nothing but trouble from day, no support from dealer , for them to help they wanted me to ship it to them 120miles at my expense and had to pay for return shipping. Pay the extra money and buy a harman or a quadra fire.
