Hidden gem! The rice here is soo good and authentic. Unlike other places I tried this place has a ton of crispy rice on the bottom of the pot. My kids that aren't really into clay pot rice had a whole pot themselves.

CRISPY! CRISPY! CRISPY! Definitely one of the best if not the best places in Richmond for clay pot rice. Crispy rice at the bottom of the pot. The way it should be. The Free Range Chicken with Mushroom was soooo good. It took 20mins for them to make it. But it was well worth the wait. All the items were in English. Unlike some of the other food courts in Richmond, where they’re all in Chinese. Makes ordering so much easier. Will be back to try their other dishes.,

Truly a hidden gem for authentic clay pot rice. I got it with boneless chicken and mushrooms. Loaded with nappa cabbage and lots of ginger for flavour. They bake it so that bottom of the rice gets scorched and crispy, which is very rare to find anywhere. It takes 20 min cooking time so best to pre-order ahead.

Solid fundamental clay pot rice, the rice crisp taste just right, however, nothing really stand out, kind of taste plain like home cooking tbh. Give it a go if you really like clay pot rice or wanna try clay pot rice, but otherwise I wouldn't go out of my way to get this.

As a Cantonese, this brought me back to my childhood. Big portion, reasonable price, delicious crispy rice at the bottom. Their soup is also very tasty. 100% recommend.

With the small renovation going on in our kitchen at home, we came to the Empire Centre for lunch. Was recommended to try the claypot rice at James Snack. We ordered the one with meat loaf and octopus. It was tasty. The rice tasted good, not too salty with the right amount of crispness at the bottom. Will return and try other varieties.

Hands down the best Bo Chay Fan clay pot rice in the Lower Mainland. Love this dish and could never find one that tastes as close to the ones I had in Hong Kong back in the days until I stumbled upon this place. Such a gem! Call 30mins in advance because they only start cooking when you order. My favourite is the Chicken and Mushroom, Preserved Meat and Minced Meat w/ preserved vegetable. Highly recommend!

Very tasty clay pot rice. It is made to order so you will have to wait a bit, but definitely worth it. Love the crunchy rice at the bottom of the bowl.
