The Joyce is incredible, one of the best dinning experiences in Fredericton. The Buffalo Blue Wings are the best wings in Fredericton. It has comfortable seeking and big tables. The drinks and food are always fast and the service is always friendly and considerate. Try the Umami fries they’re so good my girlfriend loves em. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves big bold flavours.
Food was extremely overpriced, costing almost 40 dollars for a split appetizer and one entree. I would have been better off going to Cheese Curds and getting a burger of the same size that's much cheaper and frankly better tasting. Extremely salty in general, and I ended up being sick for the rest of the night. Look somewhere else.
Had a club sandwich, was prepared differantly ie with breaded chicken from what I get in quebec...enjoyed it. Prices here are quite reasonable compared to many other cities I have been to Enjoyed the atmosphere
Big portion, friendly and cheerful staff, like the poutine and the chicken wings
Enjoyed the food and service. All starters were top notch. Would definitely repeat.
My husband and I discovered The Joyce Pub last year after looking for something new in Fredericton. Each and every time our service has been impeccable and the food has been sensational. Tonight was no exception. There’s a very famous play happening across the street, so naturally, the restaurant is busier than usual. We didn’t make a reservation, hoping for the best. When we arrived we were sat at the bar with the option of sitting at a table if one become available. They promptly made everyone aware that we were looking for a table if one became available and it did. Service is definitely incredible as it’s one of the busiest nights I’ve ever seen here. Great job guys!!
Had a very nice experience at the Joyce yesterday. Food was excellent, and they offer an extensive selection of beers, etc. Wine selections are less extensive. That said, despite our server being very helpful and polite, when asked about two ciders he was not able to comment, his explanation being that they change their selection almost daily. While this is perhaps understandable, management should ensure servers are trained and have available a description of drinks. A customer asking for input on a new drink is not unreasonable given the cost of things today.
Went here for a christmas party for work and the server was amazing! The atmosphere was great and the food was good! The drinks were also great too! It is a little bit on the pricier side but it was worth it!
Fries and atmosphere were great. Went for Dine around Fredericton. My wings had no sauce, burger was dry and very burnt, waiter would not acknowledge complaint. Awful.
Tonight I had just a snack here, but in the past, I have eaten here several times. A great place not just for pub grub, but to really try and test all the best craft beers Fredericton has to offer. Always very nice staff. Tonight I had the Yip Cider which was clean and crisp and the breaded buttermilk chicken wings. The honey garlic sauce was authentically Asian and delicious, meaning, it was more like a sauce you would get with sushi instead of a thick North American sauce you get at Sobeys. The blue cheese dressing was even better when coating the wings. A great place for friends or colleagues.
