Delightful shop with attentive service. The owner greeted us and provided information about the products we were looking at in a friendly manner. The shop is curated with beautiful products and everything is displayed with care. Will definitely visit again!

The owner of this shop is unfortunately an insufferably rude woman. She openly, and loudly, mocked me to an employee because I said “Hi!” and not “Bonjour!” I’d been in the store for less than a minute. I will happily pass by this shop every time I’m in the area, and I hope for your sake you do, too.

Was taking pictures to make a wishlist of what I wanted and needed for my flat. One of the staff member which I believe was the owner just looked straight at my cellphone screen and rudely asked if I needed help. She could have just asked nicely to not take pictures if it bothered her so much. Also, she loudly commented that some items were not properly placed right after I looked through them. I bought there before and won't anymore. I'll keep doing business with The Modern Shop in Ottawa, folks there are really friendly and helpful!

Cutest little boutique. Well curated, looks like the owner took great pride in hand picking items. I relive some are from local designers and some things from Copenhagen, very Scandinavian minimal with emphasis on quality and design. Worth taking a look, things are a little pricey though but this is no Ikea in terms of quality and design, so you get what you pay for.

Nicely curated selection of scandinavian design objects. I also buy my perfume there. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This store never updates their store opening information on Google. Several times passed by it was closed for X, Y reason. Trying to call before coming, no one answered either.

Staff assisted us but we didn't find our needs, it is a modern small shop but was expensive. They recommended us to visit their website to see the furniture they have
